Vatican drops condom-promoting Brazilian star from Christmas concert

Daniela Mercury was invited to sing in the Vatican's audience hall Dec. 3, in a program to be taped and aired in Italy Dec. 24. The performers were expected to meet with Pope Benedict XVI.

Stuff like this gives credibility to "the Cafeteria is closed" refrain.

And how did she get invited in the first place?

Why is she preforming at the Vatican in a mettalic bikini? I can't believe that birth-control advocation is the greatest of their worries.

With the way she dresses, I am amazed that she would get invited to the Vatican in the first place. This is one of her more modest costumes.

Me, I´m brazilian, and guess we have better singers to be invited next time!
