Romney has obviously has been consulting with Governor Blagojevich on this, who has also already gotten away with forcing IL pharmacists to act against their beliefs or lose their jobs. How many democratic governors will follow their lead? Unless something is done to snip this in the bud, it's just a matter of time before pharmacists throughout the country are forced to act in a way that violates their Christian beliefs.

  1. Remember, the governor is a Mormon. Abortion used to be a terrible sin in their eyes but in recent decades it's become less troublesome. The church permits abortion in "hard" cases. There is only one way for Catholic hosptials to deal with this. Either go private-- no government money at all--- or close. Frankly, it's better to close than to sin.

  2. So, you believe that an employer should be obligated to pay someone for not doing their job?

How about a vegetarian working at a slaughterhouse? They should get paid for doing nothing?

If you disagree with some of the requirements of a job, don't take the job!
