Eucharistic Adoration

Here I am again, Lord.
Before your royal throne
I come to honor, worship, and adore
In the haven of Your holy home.

I hunger and thirst for you
An empty vessel
Longing to be filled
With the love you share,
With the wisdom You alone can give.

You are my Faithful Friend,
My Constant Companion,
The Loyal Lover
Who will never abandon or disappoint,
The One who eagerly awaits my return.

As I gaze upon Your radiant face
You pour out streams of mercy and golden grace.
You bathe me in the warm, peaceful waters
That cleanse the depths of my soul
And stretch strong, secure arms around me
To heal my brokenness and make me whole.

You empty my mind of worries
and whisper words of wisdom in my ear,
I feel your heart beating next to mine
and know that You are near.

Connected to You,
Our hearts and wills are intertwined,
How I desire to stay with You
—in this holy embrace—
until the end of time.

But now, Sweet Love,
You tell me our time has ended,
That I must soon depart,
And leave this holy temple,
To go out into the world
and share my replenished heart.
