Abortionist "Tiller the Killer" Commits Hit-and-Run Two Days Before Groups Ask For Grand Jury Investigation

Wichita, KS – Abortionist George R. Tiller struck a pro-life supporter with his vehicle yesterday afternoon while leaving the parking lot of Women’s Health Care Services (WHCS), his late-term abortion facility. This incident occurred just two days before a grassroots coalition plans to submit signatures to call for a Grand Jury to investigate him.

A complaint was filed with the Wichita Police Department.
Mark Geitzen was struck in the leg as he attempted to jump out of the way of Tiller’s speeding Jeep Grand Cherokee, forcing Geitzen to turn and push off from the vehicle with his hands.
“I was measuring the driveway to insure that pro-lifers were complying with the law during their prayer times when I heard an engine rev. I turned to see Tiller coming right at me,” said Geitzen. “In that moment I couldn’t decide to jump to the right or to the left. I was kind of like a deer caught in the headlights.”
Tiller immediately sped away from the scene.

While Geitzen did not seek medical attention, he reported to Operation Rescue that he was suffering some pain in his leg. Another man that was with Geitzen was uninjured.

Geitzen reported that there was plenty of room for Tiller to go around him in the 32-foot wide, two-laned driveway, and that he was not blocking Tiller’s ability to exit. “There is no doubt that he intentionally hit me,” he said. “He drove right down the center of the driveway.”

Geitzen is the president of the Kansas Coalition for Life. His group is part of the grassroots coalition that will be presenting signatures to Sedgwick County officials on Friday in an effort to convene a Grand Jury to investigate Tiller in the abortion death of 19-year old Christin Gilbert.

“This hit-and-run incident further illustrates our point that Tiller believes he is above the law,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “He is out of control and a danger to the community. He needs to be held accountable for his actions before he hurts anyone else.”

  1. God willing, human authority will start holding Tiller accountable. And maybe that will be enough to turn his heart. Because right now... well, only God can judge Tiller's soul, but I'd not hold him up as a shining example for others to follow. There's not a bit of "Go thou and do likewise" in his life choices.

  2. All morality aside, from a purely public relations political perspective, isn't this just a stupid thing for someone claiming to be a "health-care provider" to do?

  3. I agree with you, Paul. Also, to do something like this just before your Grand Jury Investigation makes it doubly unwise.

I suspect that Tiller is not thinking too clearly right now for several reasons. I believe there is more going on here that what meets the eye.

I am not saying I condone his actions at all. In my estimation, the man is a murderer, but I know that abortionists tend to struggle with deep feelings of guilt, shame, and depression,(as a result of their sins, and rightly so). They also have a tendency to suffer from addictions. They, like many of their victims, suffer from emotional, physical, and psychological problems. Spiritually, they are dead. They tend to be in denial and need help to break the bonds of evil to which they are chained. They are living in the darkness and their lives are a "living hell."

Prayer and fasting is the only way that conversion can come about for abortionists. Jesus tells us that is the only way some demons can be driven out. (Mark 9:29)

Aside from all this, Tiller needs to be held accountable for all his actions and face the consequences of his behavior.

Let us pray that God will purify Tiller and that he will repent of his sins, and be converted. Many abortionists have converted and now speak out for life. They make powerful witnesses for the Lord.

    God bless,
    Jean

  4. Granny Grump,

I agree with you -- sometimes when a person hits rock bottom on a earthly level, they turn their hearts to the Lord.

Whatever God's plan is for Tiller, I pray that he will be submissive to it.

    God bless,
    Jean
