Conversing with Jesus

Today I am praying for...

all Catholics who have fallen away from the Church, that they will come back Home this Easter Season.

a respect for all human life from the moment of conception to the moment of death.

Catacumens (especially Roxie and Scott) who will be entering the Church this Easter.

a special intention for Barb.

the repose of the soul of AdoroTeDevote's grandmother; peace, comfort, and healing for the family.

Andrew's vocation.

Moneybag's priestly vocation and the new blog with Owen, Catholic Catechism Dialogue Blog.

the intentions at St. Blog's Prayer Network.

J.'s health.

safe travel for all during the Easter weekend.

  1. Hello Jean,
Why do you pray for all Catholics to come back to Catholicism. My wife has left Catholicism as she felt that there was a lot in Catholicism that had to be changed and since that would have been difficult, she chose to leave.

To date, after a year of marriage and 3 years of life as a born again evangelical, her parents and relaties haven't stopped haranguing or demoralising her for her 'falling away'. The fact that she comes from an aristrocratic line in india does not help as in our culture shame is a major deterrent to change of any kind.

As always, she is certain that she's never going back. I only wish there would be acceptance because the final word rests with Jesus and not with us or you.

Wish you and Bill the very best. I came here to read the Mother Teresa / Paris Hilton post. Tolerance? My foot. Why couldn't they tolerate London (though what he said was uncalled for)?
