Does Howard Dean support polygamous marriages, incestuous marriages, and interspecies marriages?

Via Insight Scoop.

And, if not, why not? Especially after his comments about marriage between a man and (an unrelated) woman (from LifeSiteNews.com):

Howard Dean, the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, lashed out against the recent decision of the New York Court of Appeals to uphold the right of the state legislature to uphold traditional marriage as between a man and a woman.

Speaking officially for the Democratic Party, Howard Dean issued a paid press release immediately after the Appeals Court’s decision came through. “As Democrats,” said the release, “we believe that every American has a right to equal protection under the law and to live in dignity. And we must respect the right of every family to live in dignity with equal rights, responsibilities, and protections under the law.”

Dean continued, “Today’s decision by the New York Court of Appeals, which relies on outdated and bigoted notions about families, is deeply disappointing, but it does not end the effort to achieve this goal.” Dean, who has been a vociferous supporter of abortion and homosexual marriage, legalized same-sex civil unions as governor of Vermont in 2000.

The entire statement can be read here. It concludes:
"As that essential process moves forward, it is up to the State legislature to act to protect the equal rights of every New Yorker and for the debate on how to ensure those rights to proceed without the rancor and divisiveness that too often surrounds this issue."

Thank goodness that Dean is free of any rancor and divisiveness! After all, it must be hard for him to calmly and coolly stick for up "gay marriage," which has been around since, well, never. So why not show some real political moxy and insist on polygamous marriages, marriages between brothers and sisters/sons and mothers/sons and fathers, etc., etc., etc.? Aren't people who want those sort of "marriages" Americans as well? Hey, if "we must respect the right of every family," Dean has a lot of work to do. And, yes, I say that with all of the proper and warranted rancor possible.

I love this post. It says it all (and so well, too.)
