Conversing with Jesus

Today I am praying for...

Fr. P. , whose condition remains stable. However, his body begins to show the effects of his not being able to eat. He can take little spoonfuls of food from time to time, but this is not enough to sustain his body. As a result, he appears quite thin and weak. Sometimes Father seems present for he tries to speak, and he smiles at those around him; at other moments, however, he seems to be "elsewhere". No one is able to know how much Father suffers since he does not visibly manifest it. All the same, he maintains a peaceful countenance.

Please join me in praying for Fr. P.:

I place Fr. P. in the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mother Mary. Please suround him, Jesus, with your holy angels. Mother Mary, I ask that you wrap him in the blanket in which you wrapped your Infant Son, Jesus, to protect him and comfort him. Craddle him in your arms dear Mother. Lord, fill him with the peace of Your presence and the joy of Your love, pour out your special graces upon him and shower him with Your love. Mary, Mother of Mercy, pray for him. Mary, Queen of hope, pray for him. Our Lady of Lourdes, comforter of the suffering, pray for him. Our Lady of Lourdes, strength of the weak, pray for him. By your glorious intercession, sweet Mother, may he be delivered from present sorrows and enjoy everlasting life.
