Celebrating a Catholic Halloween

Catholic Home and Garden offers some excellent ideas and aids for coping with Halloween. They have some great ideas for transforming Halloween into a faith-sharing experience. For example, one suggestion offered is making your own window cling. Saint Michael the Archangel is the perfect Catholic figure to counteract the evil influences of Halloween.

Front Yard displays are another way of spreading the Gospel message. You can make your own graveyard with a message. Most hardware stores carry styrofoam insulating sheets that are about 6 feet long and 3 feet wide. Just enough to make three tombstones. Cut them out and place your own Catholic message on them, such as "Here Lies An Atheist. All dressed up and nowhere to go."
