Today's Prayer Intentions

We long for the Lord to bless us and let His face shine upon us. On this special feast of Our Lady of Fatima and Mother's Day, we pray with great confidence, for the following special intentions:

That, following the example of the Blessed Virgin Mary, all Christians will allow themselves to be guided by the word of God and remain attentive to the signs of the Lord in their own lives. (Holy Father's General Intention)

For our mothers, who have given us life and love, that we may show them reverence and love, we pray to the Lord.

For mothers who have lost a child through death, that their faith may give them hope, and their family and friends support and console them, we pray to the Lord.

For mothers who have died, especially for my mom, Rita, my sister, Mary, and my mother-in-law, Emma, that God may bring them into the joy of his kingdom, we pray to the Lord.

For all mothers who are ill, we pray that they will be strengthened and blessed as they place their trust in the Lord and the intercession of His Holy Mother, while we offer them our consolation, encouragement, and love, we pray to the Lord.

For all families, that they will pray the rosary daily and practice penance for the conversion of sinners, as Our Lady requested us to do at Fatima.

For special blessings on all mother's and all women who possess a mother's heart on this Mother's Day, we pray to the Lord.

For all mothers who are suffering from the pain of abortion, that they will draw close to the Lord and be healed by His love, His forgiveness, and His tender mercy, we pray to the Lord.

For the grace this week to continue to defend, and protect mothers and their children from the culture of death and to assist them with all their spiritual, emotional, psychological and material needs, to open their hearts and minds to the truth and the love, and the light of the culture of life, we pray to the Lord.

Lord, hear our prayer.

Most merciful Father, let us love, not only in word and speech, but in deed and truth through our Lord Jesus Christ, now and forever. Amen.
