Today's Prayer Intentions

The Holy Spirit manifests Christ to us, recalls His words, and open our minds to the Paschal Mystery. Rejoicing in the Spirit we pray:

In thanksgiving for Charlene's mother being released from the hospital and for continued healing.

For the intentions of the Holy Father.

For world peace and for the protection of the lives of our military.

For an end to abortion and all sins against life.

For my dear husband Bill who is in desperate need of work at this time. Our health insurance will be expiring this week. Jesus, we trust in You!

For a job for Darin and a place for him to live, as his lease expires at the end of this month.

For the repose of the soul of Darin's uncle and for peace, comfort, and healing for the family.

For the special intentions of L. and her family.

For healing for Dave, who has stomach cancer.

For our current parish priests and for the newly ordained priests who are being assigned to our parish.

For Brother A - D, who took his vows on Pentecost and for Susan B. who made her lifetime oblature on the same day.

For peace, wisdom, and discernment for Fr. O, a diocesan priest, who is taking a one year leave of absence.

For Fr. L. who is suffering from cancer.

For an increase in vocations to the priesthood and the consecrated life.

For the alienated, the doubt-ridden, the poor - especially for the spiritually poor and those trapped in the culture of death and for those of the verge of despair: that the supernatural peace of the Spirit will bring them to new life and confidence.

For all previous prayer intentions mentioned here and those around St. Blog's.

Loving Father bless us with the seven-fold gifts of Your Holy Spirit and let our lives manifest all the fruits of the Holy Spirit. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
