Blair: A Catholic Deacon?
Source: The Hermeneutic of Continuity
Regular Guy Paul and Fr. Tim Finigan are reporting that Tony Blair - who hasn't even converted to Catholicism yet - is already talking about being ordained as a Deacon of the Church. Read more here.

I think he would make a great Catholic and pray that he converts soon. As for a deacon, the Holy Spirit must be moving in him - he's got the fire!

Well it would be kinda miraculous!
ReplyDeleteDo we really need a pro-abort, pro-homosexual acts convert?
ReplyDeleteI hope he converts before he converts.

I do believe in miracles. Look at Fr. John Corapi and the lifestyle he had before returning to the Catholic faith. When he returned to his faith after a long absence, he told his confessor that he wanted to be a priest and his confessor nearly fainted. But he did it or should I say God did it.
I know others who have converted from a pro-abortion, pro-gay lifestyle - just look at Norma McCorvey who was both a lesbian and Jane Roe in Roe V. Wade. She is a strong Catholic now, no longer gay, and has fought to overturn Roe V. Wade.
I have witnessed miracles through the power of prayer. Tony Blair is no exception. There are people who have been praying for a long time for his conversion.
I agree with you - there's always hope for those who are lost in the darkness if we persist in prayer.
