Today's Prayer Intercessions

Let us pray with confidence to God our strength:
Response: We call upon your name!

Your deeds are wonderful:
teach us to boast of your love rather than of our accomplishments.

You are the rock upon which the world stands firm:
grant us faith to depend on you rather than on your own achievements.

You are the true judge of all things:
open our eyes to see as you see.

You have broken the power of sin and death:
raise our beloved dead to eternal life.

We pray in gratitude and for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us.

For M., a young mother, that she will choose birth for her unborn child whom she has scheduled to abort next week.

For D., a 22 year-old single mom, with 2 children (one with a disability) who has medical problems and no family or church support, who is considering an abortion, that she will give birth to her baby, and accept all the special graces and support that she is being given at this time.

For C. who is struggling with a problem pregnancy.

For all mothers who are contemplating or planning abortion.

For Julie D.'s parents.

For the fruitfulness of Bill's job search.

For a job for John, who has been unemployed for two months.

For L., a woman who will be undergoing brain surgery to try to stop further brain damage caused by tumors; the surgery is planned in the beginning of August.

For a couple who are expecting their 7th child; the other 6 children have died during pregnancy.

For a Catholic hospital not under the jurisdiction of the bishop - that they stop giving out the Morning After Pill to patients, that they will also stop prescribing contraceptives and performing abortions (rare, but still occurs.)

Bring peace into the hearts of those who suffer, and bless them with your healing, especially those who are struggling with cancer: Diane (who has been fighting it for almost 3 years now), Fr. L., Dave, Gloria, Robert, Harry and Vic. Bring peace and comfort to their families and caregivers.

That the riches of God's grace will be lavished upon all those who are unemployed, in financial difficulty, or homeless.

For all those previous requests made here and those around St. Blogs.

For abundant blessings on all who are praying for us at this time,we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, who lives and reigns forever.

Our Father...

May the blessing of almighty God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit descend upon us and remain with us always.

Hail Mary...
