Responses to Pro-abortion Politicians

This is the eighth in a series of responses to pro-abortion politicians. In this spot, Fr. Frank answers the argument that "there are many other issues than abortion."

Our response: The foundation of a house is only one of many parts of the house, but it is essential in order to build the other parts. That is why the Catholic bishops have repeatedly asserted that among the many interrelated issues within a consistent ethic, abortion deserves "urgent attention and priority " (Pastoral Plan, 2001).

  1. It's getting to the point that there is no one left to vote for if we remain solid on foundational issues. It's shameful for me to not exercise my right to vote. It's a rock and a hard place to be. Thing is I guess I am beginning to understand that I am one of those people who would rather toss my right to vote even if it means dealing with people and policies than well, burn in hell or at least for a whole lot longer in purgatory. Fanatic, I know, I know...
