A Simple Woman's Daybook
A Simple Woman's Day Book
For Today...
Outside my Window...it's dark, as it is night here, but it's been very cloudy all day. It's been in the 60's -- which is exceptionally cool here for this time of year -- and has been looking like rain all day.
I am thinking...about the upcoming blogs I want to post on...those I just read on Palin and Biden...about something I'm planning to do in October...about all the things I would like to do again once I return to a regular sleep schedule -- I have been a night owl again lately, which happens when I have lots of reading and writing to do.
I am thankful for...the Holy Spirit's inspiration and encouragement in helping me today. I'm sure this must have been because it was the Blessed Mother's birthday.
From the kitchen....I can still smell the hamburgers and green /yellow beans we had for supper. I usually fix more than that, but we wanted to get in our walk and return home before watching Bill O'Reilly interview Barack Obama.
I am wearing...soft purple pants and a short-sleeved blouse -- very comfy for this cool day.
I am reading...several books I will be reviewing soon and excerpts from two books on the Blessed Mother in honor of her birthday.
I am hoping...that things go well for Bill tomorrow when he has his medical procedure done.
I am creating...nothing special other than posts for my blogs.
I am hearing...the TV on low volume.
Around the house...it's very quiet -- everyone here is napping.
One of my favorite things...a cat who massages me with her paws, purrs, and keeps me warm at night.
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...Bill's procedure tomorrow, more writing, reading, and lots of work to do.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing with you...
