An Afternoon with the Oblates...

This afternoon, we attended our monthly Oblate meeting. Here is Fr. Allan Marie from France on live streaming video, giving us a beautiful talk on the Immaculate Conception. The reception was great and we were able to interact with him just as if he were in the same room with us. The reception was great! He could even hear one of the neighbors dogs barking outside!

Here we are outdoors after the meeting with some of the "future Oblates"! If it looks like some of us were having a bad hair day, let's blame it on the Wichita wind, which was quite strong today.

We celebrated the beatification of the parents of St. Therese, Louis and Zelie Martin with delicious homemade chocolate eclairs, strawberries, and Mystic Monk Coffee.
