Obama laughs and jokes about our country's problems

President Barack Obama said he believes the global financial system remains at risk of implosion with the failure of Citigroup or AIG, which could touch off “an even more destructive recession and potentially depression.”

His remarks came in a“60 Minutes” interview in which he was pressed by Steve Kroft for laughing and chuckling several times while discussing the perilous state of the world’s economy.

“You're sitting here. And you're— you are laughing. You are laughing about some of these problems. Are people going to look at this and say, ‘I mean, he's sitting there just making jokes about money—’ How do you deal with— I mean: explain. . .” Kroft asked at one point.

“Are you punch-drunk?” Kroft said.

“No, no. There's gotta be a little gallows humor to get you through the day,” Obama said, with a laugh. Article.

It may be a joke to him, but not to the rest of us who are the victims of his decisions.

  1. I have an idea that will solve the financial crisis and only cost $40 million and not $3 billion.

Give the 40 million Americans 55 and older still working a Million Dollars each with stipulations attached.

    1. When we receive the money, we must quit our job. 40 million other people will be hired, end of unemployment problem.
    2. We must buy a new American made car within 30 days. End of auto problem.
    3. We must either pay off our mortgage or buy a new house and pay in full. End of banking problem and construction problem.

As a bonus, promise not to touch our Social Security for 10 years, allowing it to build up. End of SS problem. Saving to our country $2 Billion $960 Million.

Only draw back, politicians won’t get any kick backs.
