My Daybook for June 15, 2009
Outside my window:
It's close to 10 PM, so it's pretty dark out now. It was very hot and humid here today (It reached 100 degrees.) and we had thunderstorms this evening.
I am Thankful for:
A wonderful husband who loves me. We will be celebrating our 17th anniversary on June 27th. I am also so thankful for the wonderful opportunity of attending daily Mass and being able to adore the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration whenever I wish.
Kitchen meanderings:
We had lamb, sweet potatoes, and salad for supper.
Nose inserted:
I'm reading several books on the saints along with, "Devotion to Our Lady" by Fr. Stefano M. Manelli, FI. I read a few pages at a time before I fall asleep at night.
Around the house:
It's quiet here -- I am hearing the grandfather clock in the family room chime on the hour.
