Today is Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity
Red arm bands and red duct tape on their mouths will identify the students as taking part in the sixth annual Pro-life Day of Silent Solidarity. They will carry fliers explaining why they are silent and educate others about the plight of the innocent children we are losing every day.
Bryan Kemper, President of Stand True Ministries which organizes the event, said last year students from more that 4,800 campuses in 25 countries stood together in solidarity against abortion.
"By refusing to speak the students create a huge buzz and abortion will be the most talked about subject on campus," Kemper explained. "This generation is fed up with the senseless violence of abortion and is determined to bring an end to the abortion holocaust."
"We have heard of hundreds of girls who have cancelled abortions because of this day every year," Kemper said.
