CWN reports that Montana has become the third state to legalize Euthansia.

The number of abortions in Illinois has reached a ten year high, most likely due to the state's flagging economy and to the first full year of operation of a new clinic offering abortion services in Aurora. Robert Gilligan, executive director of the anti-abortion Catholic Conference of Illinois, attributed the 2008 increases, in part, to the opening of Planned Parenthood's Aurora clinic, which began offering abortion services in November 2007.

Samantha Singson at Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute summarizes International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF)'s annual performance report for 2008-2009:

IPPF’s overall income for 2008 was US$119.7 million, down from over $120 million the previous year. While IPPF's total financial intake dipped, its abortion business boomed.  The organization provided almost 428,000 “abortion services” to young people alone, with a staggering 1,134,549 total number of such services – almost double the number from 2007 – across the globe.
