Ladybugs

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, explains the notice he found on a hotel bed indicating that ladybugs were protected by law and cannot be killed. He then asks, "If we cannot kill ladybugs, why can we kill babies in the womb?"

  1. Definitely agree. I am an animal lover, but a baby-lover too! All life should be protected.

Also, interesting that this has to do with ladybugs - did you know that they were named for Our Lady? Yes. :D Like Lady Slippers, etc. "The beetle of Our Lady." It was due to their red color, and the spots were meant to symbolize the seven joys and seven sorrows.

    Pretty neat, huh?

Our Lady, Protectress of All Life, pray for us!
