Please Help This Single Mom Who Fought Abortion Workers to Keep Her Baby

I am writing to tell you the dramatic story of a single mom who fought abortion facility workers in order to save the life of her baby and to request your help.

On the morning of May 22, Precious was brought to the “Aid- For-Women” Abortion Facility in Kansas City, Kansas by her older sister, and was scheduled to be the first abortion-client.  However, when her older sister came out to smoke, she saw the large photo of an 8-week old baby that a Kansas Coalition for Life volunteer was holding, and the 10-week-old aborted baby photograph on the Truth-truck. These photos emotionally stirred the older sister, and she sent a text message to Precious about the graphic photos. This caused Precious to have second thoughts about having her abortion. Precious was 7½ weeks pregnant at the time. Mark Gietzen, president of KCFL, and a volunteer sidewalk counselor, spoke to the older sister, offering her financial help, even though the pro-life organization did not and still does not have much money in their account.

When Precious heard that there was “A CRAZY MAN” outside who said that he would help her financially, she decided to come out and talk about it. However, before she could leave the room, Abortionist Ronald Yoemens walked in to begin the abortion.

Since Precious had just then decided against having the abortion, she refused to lay down on the abortion-gurney. When she refused the stern verbal orders to do so, two female abortion-nurses and one male abortion-nurse, grabbed Precious by her shoulders and arms, and tried to force her to mount the gurney. This was clearly an illegal physical assault.

A fight ensued, and a Security Guard went in to break up the fight inside. Fortunately, Precious was able to escape and to talk to KCFL counselors. Emotionally distraught from the fight which had ensued inside the abortion facility, Precious talked to KCFL for nearly an hour before she was able to calm down following the trauma.

Precious is a 23-year-old student who works two jobs. She is unmarried, and has two other young children whom she loves dearly. Her ONLY reason for scheduling an abortion was her financial concerns. Precious refuses to accept welfare, even though she is struggling to feed and care for her other two children.

The following message is from Mark Geitzen, KCFL President:

Precious is not our first such save. We have had about a dozen of this kind of save at Tiller’s gate in Wichita, and one previous one in Kansas City. Normally, their financial need is immediate and short-term. Even though we offer help “until the child turns 18 years old” most of these ladies just want the reassurance that WE WILL BE THERE AS A LAST RESORT for them, in their future possible dire financial need.

In fact, we once saved a baby’s life by paying only a $47 electric bill and nothing more! Once that woman was convinced that we were serious about our offer to help her, she was satisfied, and she has yet to ask for more financial help! Others have indeed asked for on-going help, but never, in my opinion, unreasonably so. Mostly, the woman wants us to be there for her in an emergency.

I am writing to ask you for a financial donation of $50. If you can afford more, that would be helpful …if less, that is equally appreciated. To donate, go here.

Also, if it is feasible for you to do so, I want you to consider taking a shift at the Aid-For-Women Abortion Facility, in Kansas City. Babies are dying that could easily be saved! If you can take even a once-per-month shift in Kansas City, please write to me at: Mark@Gietzen.us.

Thank you for all that you have done in the past at Tiller’s gate, and thanks in advance for helping us in our current financial needs.
