Pope releases July prayer intentions

July 2, 2012. (Romereports.com) Every month the pope releases a new prayer intention, something that aims to join Catholics in a united prayer. For the month of July, Benedict XVI has asked that“everyone may have work in safe and secure conditions”.

Unemployment has reached 10% of the labor force in Italy, reflecting many of the problems in the current European debt crisis.

Along with his prayer intention, the pope also releases a mission intention and asked that “Christian volunteers in mission territories may witness to the love of Christ”.
