Put Planned Parenthood on Your Christmas List
Planned Parenthood has infuriated Christians all over the nation by selling "holiday cards" (they're not Christmas cards, of course) with their offensive and blashphemous slogan "choice on earth".
This year Judie Brown, President of American Life League, is proposing something new. She is asking people to send "religious" Christmas cards to Cecile Richards, the president of the nation's largest abortion chain. "As head of this destructive organization, she sincerely needs to hear Christ's message of love", Judie explained.
Send the cards to:
Cecile Richards
Planned Parenthood
Federation of America
434 West 33rd Street
New York, N.Y. 10001
I concur with Mrs. Brown's comment: "If you send any messages, please be charitable."
I also recommend that we add Cecile Brown to our prayers for conversion.

Why not? Though it'll only have a snowball's chance in hell of working if absolutely every card is charitable.
ReplyDeleteAnd if I sent one I"d be too tempted to just list girls who died at PP and ask her not to forget their families over the holidays.

ReplyDeleteI'm not so sure that's not a totally bad idea if it's stated in a honest, tactful way. You might ask her to join you in prayer for those who have died from abortions and whose family are alone this Christmas. Would Jesus shirk from the truth?
ReplyDeleteActually, that's not exactly the the the most joyful, peaceful loving message for a Christian to put on a Christmas card, but it is an honest one. Perhaps something similar to that would be better suited for the anniversary of Roe V. Wade.
I have on several occasions communicated with those who are stuck in the culture of death and have spent time in prayer before and afterwards. It is only by the grace of God that these individuals can be converted.
I know what you are saying as it is difficult not to feel anger and frustration in the presence of evil. It is normal to hate the wicked, sinful behavior. PP and the vicious acts of murder they are evil and outrageous.
I have to remind myself daily that the people who commit these atrocities are still children of God and are made in His image and likeness. Who knows - it is possible that we might see them in Heaven one day if we make it there ourselves.
Murderers have been known to repent and turn back to God. Love is the only way we can convert hearts to God. Let us pray to Our Lady and to St. Augustine for the conversion of all those trapped in the culture of death.
Our Blessed Mother asks us to pray the rosary for the conversion of sinners and Archbshop Fulton J. Sheen said that if everyone made a Holy Hour each day abortion would end.
I believe that God can work miracles through our submission to His holy will.
I think the President of PP needs lots of reminders that there still is a God and that He loves her, despite her sinfulness.
We all need to vent our anger and frustration about these things,so vent all you want here. Thanks for your comment.
God bless you,
Jean
I just wrote my card saying, "Blessed Christmas, our family is praying that you will find true peace in the Infant Jesus through conversion of your heart".The card has a lovely Madonna and Child entitled, "The Sleep of the Child Jesus" by Bernardino Luini. It's the most realistic baby Jesus I've seen in Italian Art.
ReplyDeletePlease Lord, let our message be heard.
Oh, grannygrump, if Dr.Bernard Nathanson could come around to the pro-life side, anyone can!
Great message!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you,
