Prayer Request: URGENT HELP NEEDED!

Unless I receive help with this blog, I will have to stop blogging. I have done everything I can possibly do to this blog to try to make it work and am extremely frustrated. Please pray that someone will help. Please refer to the details in the post below.

I am also experiencing severe stress in my life at this time. Please pray for me!

Thank you and God bless you!

  1. You're in my prayers, Jean!

Don't let the blog get you down. You'll figure that out; I've never had any problem reading it.

  2. Jean, Joey asked how much RAM you have on your computer since you have a lot of stuff on your blog.

  5. I'm not sure what I can do to help as I don't have any problems with your blog displaying. Clearly there is some sort of javascript issue your template is running into. It's hard to tell just which might be the problem as you have several javascript widgets in your template. One thought - blogger does have a help forum which you might want to look into. Failing that, if you can email me a copy of your full template I can see if I can reproduce your problem.

  6. Jean - I wish I could help. But I will pray. Have you thought about starting over? I think you can transfer your posts to a new url. Maybe that would work.

  7. Thanks for all the comments.

Paul, thanks so much for the advice. Sometimes this blog and my server (which constantly goes out whenever the wind blows in Kansas) combined with both phones (the one attached to the computer and my cell phone)going out at the most inopportune times drives me nuts. I am just not technologically inclined and the constant changes in technology are hard to keep up with. I like things to be uncomplicated.

    I appreciate your encouragement.

    Esther,

This Dell computer has 0.99GB of RAM.

Thanks for all the help you two have given me already -- you're probably getting tired of hearing me complain about this.

I just can't understand what's wrong as I have never had this problem before.

    Ebeth,

I know Alexa, but haven't contacted her. Thanks for her email!

I just joined Catholic Moms who blog and was approved today, but can't figure out how to get into the form that was sent to me - it's quite complex. Maybe my mind is just over-worked right now.

    Thanks again!

    Frival,

I joined that help group, but haven't received any help.

I will send you a copy of my blog template.

Thanks for your prayers Christine. I have thought about starting over and did change my template, but would hate to have to start completely over -- I just don't have that kind of time on my hands nor do I have that kind of energy anymore. I appreciate those prayers so much. I have been questioning if God wants me to blog or if He wants me to spend my time doing something else.

    Thanks everyone!

    God bless you!

    Jean

  8. Whoops!

Ebeth -- I meant to say thanks for the link -- instead of email.

It's late and I'm getting fuzzy headed.

    God bless!

I will ask around and see if someone can help you:). Dont give up!

    Peace & love to you:)

  11. Is there a local library around? If you can access a public computer, you can probably see if it is the blog or your connection.

Email me at nicholasrlarkin@gmail.com....I will try to help you.

    Happy Easter...and God bless!

  12. Well, of course I'll pray for you. Are you still experiencing problems as of Friday, 3/28 1:55 PST?

I've worked with computers for years. When you change stuff....don't change it all at once, work on a bit at a time.

don't forget sometimes the BLOGSPOT people have glitches.

  13. Jean, I just visited your blog for the first time today. It is impressive! I designed my own website from scratch using HTML, http://www.EdnaMcGrew.com
and I worked as an Engineering Research Section Head at Unisys until I retired early in the late l980's. So I know something about computers and also about software. In addition, I have two blogs, so perhaps I can help you. However, there is no guarantee as computer software has become so complex. I'm not sure I fully understand your problem. Why not email me at Edna@IEEE.org and describe your problem in more detail? Perhaps I can help.

  14. Wow! I am overwhelmed by all your generous offers to help and your prayers. My heartfelt thanks goes out to each and everyone of you.

I am still working on the problem. Hopefully it will be fixed soon with the blessing of your assistance and prayers.

    God bless you!
    Jean
