I HAVE A DREAM

Praise the Lord in His sanctuary, praise Him in the firmament of His strength.
Praise Him for His mighty deeds, praise Him for His sovereign majesty.
Praise Him with the blast of the trumpet, praise Him with the lyre and harp,Praise Him with timbrel and dance, praise Him with strings and pipe.Praise Him with clanging cymbals.Let everything that has breathpraise the Lord! Alleluia.

~ Psalm 150

Praise the Lord for this glorious day and for our many freedoms -- all precious gifts from God Almighty.

"So let freedom ring. From the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire, let freedom ring. From the mighty mountains of New York, let freedom ring. From the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania, let freedom ring. But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia. Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi. And when this happens, when we let it ring, we will speed that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last, free at last/Thank God Almighty, we're free at last!"

~ Reverend Martin Luther King, 1963

Let us continue to pray that all God's children will be free -- especially the innocent babes in the womb. Let us oppose all assaults on innocent human life that try to pit liberty against life. I have a dream that one day all human life will be respected and held sacred by man. Thank you, Lord, for giving us the freedom to choose to do your will and to follow after You. Amen.
