  2. This is for all you east coast liberal media who think only Yankees and Red Sock play in the major league. You who snub your nose because the Cardinals "only" won 83 games. We were still first in our division, we won 3 games first in the play offs, we won 4 games in the Championship Series, and we won 4 games in the World Series. You overlook the fact that we lost our number 2 pitcher to shoulder surgery, our closer to hip surgery, the league MVP for 17 days to hamstring injury, World Series MVP for over a month to Oblique Muscle strain, Gold Glove 3rd baseman (recovering from shoulder surgery last year), and Gold Glove Center Fielder played only 6 games in the last 1 1/2 months due to Post Concussion Syndrum. The Cardinals had to re-invent themselves with other teams "cast-offs", and the bull pen with rookie pitchers.

St. Louis Cardinals, job well done.

  3. I love the St. Louis Cardinals and am happy they won. I think of them as "the Catholic team".
