Today's Prayer Intentions

Thanks be to God for answered prayer!

From Moneybags: I want to thank you for my prayers. My great grandmother is slightly improving, and my midterms were a huge success. Thank you!

Today's Petitions:

Continued healing for Lucille.

For C. who is dealing with many issues right now - may the seeds that the Holy Spirit implanted in her move her return her to the Lord, encourage her to follow through on making a Rachel's Vineyard weekend, and bring forth life to the baby growing within her. Lord, I surrender her to you for healing in all the ways she needs your healing.

For M. who is raising her 4 children alone and is now pregnant with her fifth child while her husband resides outside the country. For her many needs and for the life of the baby growing within her.

For an end to abortion and the closing of all abortion mills, especially Tiller's late-term abortion mill in Wichita, KS.

For the conversion of those living in the culture of death.

For speedy employment for my husband, who was laid off recently due to organizational changes within the company.

For the needs of the poor, the lonely, the sick, the mentally ill, the terminally ill, and the unemployed.

For an increase in vocations to the priesthood and the consecrated life.

For my cat, Jasmine, who has been ill and is staying at the veterinarian's overnight for observation.

For all previous prayer intentions mentioned here.

We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

  1. Jean, how's Jasmine doing? Sorry to hear she is sick.

  2. Esther,

Thanks for asking. Jasmine has been diagnosed with a urinary tract infection and is taking antibiotics now. She is at home now and resting.

We were very concerned as we didn't know what was wrong with her or how to help her. Thank God for vets.

    God bless you,
    Jean

  3. Sounds like the problem with all the dog food in the news right now. Were you feeding Jasmine canned food? I'm glad they caught her problem early. This is such a scary news item and I'm sure it's touching many pet lovers.
