Today's Prayer Intentions

We give thanks to the Lord because He is good and we turn now to the Father with our prayers:

Alleluia! Thank you, Lord, for Nigel's healing. Nigel who was in ICU and on oxygen has suddenly recovered. Tomorrow they will discharge him. He is coming home! Alleluia!

Thank you, Lord, for the blessing of Pope Benedict XVI and today on the second anniversary of his election as Pope. We pray for an abundance of special blessings and graces for him.

For the Holy Father's special intentions.

For an increase in vocations to the priesthood and to the consecrated life.

For peace in our world and for the safety of our soldiers.

That the leaders of all governments will work to insure that all people can live in full freedom.

That the power of Christ's ressurection will put an end to the culture of death.

For an end to abortion and the closing of all abortion mills.

For those who live in confusion, ignorance, or skepticism: that they may know the truth and the light of the risen Christ.

For peace, healing, and comfort for a newborn full-term baby girl who is hospitalized with underdeveloped lungs and for her parents.

For the repose of the Annie, who was killed in an auto accident and for her 7 year-old twins (whose condition is currently unknown) who were with her.

For M.'s special intentions.

For D. & K.'s and their baby.

For full-time permanent employment for Bill.

For all previous prayer intentions mentioned here and for those around St. Blog's.

We pray to the Lord. Lord, hear our prayer.

Loving Father, the resurrection of your Son gives us a new birth to a living hope. Let us live in that hope always, through Christ Our Lord. Amen.
