Holdren: Sterilize welfare recipients
Obama boss suggested ways to save planet, said fetus not a person
My comments in blue below.
From WND:
Obama science czar John Holdren stated in a college textbook that compulsory, government-mandated "green abortions" would be a constitutionally acceptable way to control population growth and prevent ecological disasters, including global warming, because a fetus was most likely not a "person" under the terms of the 14th Amendment.
First of all overpopulation is a myth . Contrary to what the Hollywood celebrities and the radical left are constantly spouting off, we are not overpopulated. Second, abortion is always evil -- it is the destruction of human life--murder. Third, under the Constitution, all Americans are guaranteed the right to life. Fourth, I agree with Cardinal Pell that global warning has been highly exaggerated. The radical left uses it as a political ploy to obtain power over people. Even if their hysterical claims were true, they would never justify the killing of an innocent child living and growing in the mother's womb.
Holdren further suggested government-mandated population control measures might be inflicted in the United States against welfare recipients, writing on page 840: "There has been considerable talk in some quarters at times of forcibly suppressing reproduction among welfare recipients (perhaps by requiring the use of contraceptives or even by involuntary sterilizations). This may sadly foreshadow what our society might do if the human predicament gets out of hand." (Parenthesis in original text.)
This is sinful, sick, and surreal. Is this the type of freedom our country's Christian forefathers fought for -- that elitists have the power to mutiliate our bodies and dictate and control our every action?
Can government get much sleazier and immoral than this? I knew Obama was a strong advocate of abortion long before he was elected, but where on earth did he find these perverts that he chooses for these elite positions -- these radically immoral czars who want to dictate whether a human being should live or die and whether or not a person should conceive or undergo sterilization?

Most people who rave about global warming don't even understand its causes and make faulty conclusions about it. Al Gore manipulated statistics and sent out an inaccurate, alarmist message. It's grossly exaggerated at the very *least*. And I learned that overpopulation was a myth in a sociology class - at a liberal university... why must people be so willfully ignorant?
