Abortionists telling their victims the truth?
A state Assembly bill in Wisconsin would require physicians to tell a patient seeking an abortion that her unborn child would experience pain during the procedure performed at 20 weeks. Wow, abortionists speaking the truth to their victims -- what a novel idea! I just wonder how this would be enforced and I would hope there would be some stipulations as to exactly what the abortionist and his staff are to tell the patient and that the patient be required to sign a form, confirming the procedure has been thoroughly explained to her and that she understands that the abortion will cause her unborn child to suffer excruciating pain.
However, this bill must first pass the Senate and be signed by the governor before it can become law. Gov. Jim Doyle has pledged to veto it along with another abortion bill. He states, "It's unfortunate the Legislature has spent so much time and taxpayer money this fall on the issues that divide people (meaning abortion) instead of focusing on what most people in Wisconsin care about - having a good-paying job, a good school for their kids and affordable health care." What an insult to the citizens of his state! What he is saying here is that he perceives that people in his state don't really care that infants are being murdered in his state and that their own material needs take precedence over human life. It sounds to me like he is projecting his own low moral standards on others -- a classic defense mechanism used when one feels threatened and attempts to preserve the ego. In a state where over 10,000 babies were aborted in 2003 (Wisconsin Dept. of Health statistics), I would conclude that Doyle has no concern for the most basic need of the people (guaranteed to them by the Constitution of the United States)-- life. Just because they are voiceless innocents who can't vote to throw you out of office for your despicable behavior gives you no right to kill them!

Well, he vetoed the conscience clause bill that would protect many of us in the health care field.
ReplyDeleteWe have two pro-lifers running for his office, and I will vote for either one who comes out on top. I did not like Doyle in his previous job, and like him even less in this one.

Hi!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping you would comment on this post to give us some further insight and a first-hand look as to what is happenning in WI. Thanks for your comment.
Doyle reminds me of IL's Governor Rod Blagojevich, who is also very anti-life.
I wish I were still living there so I could vote against him in the next election.
