The American spirit is celebrated in the outrageous and totally irreverent comedy An American Carol from David Zucker, the master of questionable taste (Airplane!, The Naked Gun, Scary Movie 3 and 4). In An American Carol a cynical, Anti-American Hollywood filmmaker sets out on a crusade to abolish the 4th of July holiday. He is visited by three spirits who take him on a hilarious journey in an attempt to show him the true meaning of America.

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Barack Obama, caught up in the fervor of a campaign speech Tuesday, drastically overstated the Kansas tornadoes death toll, saying 10,000 had died. The death toll was 12. My Observation: Just a minor error - actually there's not much difference between 12 and 10,000. From what I have observed in listening to his speeches (unless they have been written for him and he has memorized them) - this is typical for Obama. The liberal press is always covering up for his mistakes. (If they report them.) Lord, please don't let this man try to run our country. Find a more appropriate job for him. Amen.

What can I say? Have you ever heard that a dog "knows" when an earthquake is about to hit? Have you ever heard that a dog can "sense" when a tornado is stirring up, even twenty miles away? Do you remember hearing that, before the December tsunami struck Southeast Asia, dogs started running frantically away from the seashore, at breakneck speed? I'm a firm believer that animals - and especially dogs - have keen insights into the Truth. And you can't tell me that dogs can't sense a potentially terrible disaster well in advance. Simply said, a good ol' hound dog just KNOWS when something isn't right . . . when impending doom is upon us . . . From my inbox. Thanks, Bill!
