Image Source: ABC News On Monday evening, Pope Francis held a “virtual audience” in several cities across the United States as part of the lead-up to his visit later this month. During the interactive event, those taking part were able to share their stories and ask the Holy Father questions. In one instance, the Pope asked a teenage girl, who had been a victim of bullying, to sing for him. Speaking from the Vatican, and alternating between English and Spanish, Pope Francis addressed those taking part at various locations across the US. These included students at the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago, faithful at a Texas Church near the Mexican border, as well as homeless people and those who work to assist them in Los Angeles. The event was hosted by ABC News and moderated by network’s "World News Tonight" anchor David Muir. Even With More Women on Birth Control, Many Don't Hear About the Variety of Side Effects Now even the mainstream media is reporting the adverse side effects of the pill. ABC News reports the following: 1. There is a risk of blood clots among smokers, high blood pressure, and stroke with some migraine headaches. 2. Women on the pill may suffer a lackluster sex drive, mood swings, or even extra sinus pressure. 3. Women may choose a mate they would not otherwise be attracted to. 4. Women may have a libido problem. 5. Women may experience heartburn, or constipation, or sleep disturbances, either as insomnia or extra sleepiness. 6. Last night, ABC News' Gigi Stone covered the story of IN Planned Parenthood offering Christmas gift certificates for all services including abortion. Stone concluded, "Planned Parenthood chapters in Illinois, New York, Alaska and Michigan are considering similar gift certificate programs for the holidays. But if the organization expands this program, the more it is likely to inflame the never-ending fight over abortion during what is intended to be a peaceful holiday season." Read more at Jill Stanek.
