Women Injured by Abortion Confront Florida Barack Obama Supporters

Tampa, FL (LifeNews.com) -- Four women who were injured emotionally and spiritually by their abortions and regret their decisions confronted supporters of Barack Obama at a rally this week in Florida. The members of the post-abortion group Operation Outcry stood on the sidewalk holding signs that read “My Abortion Hurt Me." MORE LifeNews also reports one of the members of the post-abortion group as saying: "What surprised me the most was that many people that spoke to us were pro-life and didn't have a clue about Barack Obama’s liberal voting record." I found this to be true when Barack Obama was running for U.S. Senator as well. At that time, I was a resident of IL and served on a community voter's board for a local newspaper (which was very liberal.) I was the token conservative. No one there seemed to know what Barack Obama stood for, yet they were impressed with his charisma, his looks, and the canned speech he gave at the Democratic National Convention. Tha...

The Curt Jester: Only Moloch is more pro-abortion than Obama

Obama: "Thanks to all of you at Planned Parenthood for all the work that you are doing for women all across the country and for families all across the country—and for men, who have enough sense to realize you are helping them, all across the country. " From The Curt Jester : I guess I am glad to be senseless enough to not equate murdering children in the womb with helping me. Yes the great work they are doing for "families" I guess even when it comes to abortion they are doing it for the children." Read the rest of his post here. It's all about Obama

Obama is the hot topic around the blogosphere these days, as he indeed should be. Who would have thought that such a radical anti-life, anti-family candidate, anti-Christian would suddenly pop out of nowhere (with very little experience) and run for the highest office in our land? From the editors of the National Catholic Register : It’s important for Americans to know exactly where Barack Obama stands on abortion, because abortion is more than just a "Catholic issue." It's one of the fundamental issues Americans should be most concerned about. The United States was founded on the rights to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness,” and Americans have spent the past two centuries since trying to live up to those founding principles. First came disagreements over the pursuit of happiness — religious and economic liberty. Then, over slavery. Today’s big battle is over the most important right: the right to life. Obama’s votes and official positions deny the right to life...

Obama's Catholic Advisers Respond to Bill Donahue

On May 2, Catholic League president Bill Donohue issued a news release urging Sen. Barack Obama to dissolve his Catholic National Advisory Council. Donohue did so because not one of the 26 former and current public policy holders who constitute the group stand with the Catholic Church on all three major issues: abortion, embryonic stem cell research and school vouchers. He provided evidence that the overwhelming majority of these advisors agreed with NARAL, the most pro-abortion group in the nation, 100 percent of the time. Now the group has written to Donohue protesting his remarks ( click here to read it). Donohue answered them today: “The reason I mentioned only public officials who are part of Sen. Obama’s Catholic National Advisory Council is the same reason I chose just three public policy issues: voting tallies are available on these advisors (but not on the others) and on these three issues. If I knew more about the others, no doubt some would have made the cut. “It is more t...

Obama's 57 States

At a campaign event in Beaverton, OR, Obama claimed to have visited 57 U.S. states during the campaign. Stop the ACLU and The Anchoress have some interesting comments to make on their blogs about this. Not only is geography a tough subject for Obama to tackle, but he also struggles with history, as Jack Kelly points out here.

Obama Owes Christians an Apology

Image
On April 6, Sen. Barack Obama made the following remarks about the white working-class: “It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” Catholic League president Bill Donohue wasn’t amused: “Commentators are already saying that Obama’s remarks are an attack on small town America. But they are more than that. “Just as words can be taken out of context, it is equally wrong to dismiss the context in which words are spoken. The forum Obama chose to make his remarks was a crowd of wealthy, left-leaning secularists in the most left-leaning, secular city in America—San Francisco. In other words, it was a safe venue for him to speak condescendingly about those so-called small-minded Christians. “This is hardly the first time working-class Christians have been labeled parochial by elites who fancy themselves open minded. But for a...

Obama's spiritual mentor's outrageous sermons

WARNING: VILE and VULGAR LANGUAGE I have been listening to the discussions on Ave Maria radio about Obama's pastor who has been a major influence in his life. Not only does Jeremiah Wright preach racism and hatred of whites, but he also "damns" this country over and over again, blaming it for many wars. This man is vile and vulgar in his speech and thoughts, totally uncharitable, and divisively dangerous. His words are anything but Christian and he has been Obama's spiritual mentor for twenty years. How can Obama possibly unite this country when he's been spoon fed this kind of garbage over the years? How can he call himself a Christian if he believes what this man preaches?

Quote of the Day

"Persons with disabilities, no matter how serious, are persons with the Constitutional right to life." ~ Robert Schindler, brother to Terri Schiavo, responding to Barack Obama's comment when asked what legislation regrets he had, he said he would have voted to stop Congress from intervening to save the life of Terri Schiavo. Obama's Love Affair with Planned Parenthood

Listen to the entire July 17, 2007 speech in the above video. He flaunts his pro-death policies here -- listen to his propoganda. CNA reports today: On Wednesday a full transcript of Democrat presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama’s July 2007 speech to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund in which he vigorously defended legalized abortion became available. In the July 17 speech, Obama attacked the Supreme Court decision that upheld the federal partial-birth abortion ban and the nomination of Supreme Court justices who favor overturning Roe v. Wade. In the speech the senator said, "There will always be people, many of goodwill, who do not share my view on the issue of choice. On this fundamental issue, I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield." Obama based his speech around the question, “What kind of America will our daughters grow up in?” He specifically argued against the Supreme Court decision Gonzales v. Carhart, which upheld restrictions on partial-birt...

Day Gardner: Obama and the Epidemic of Violence

Image
Obama speaks to Chicago Christians about "epidemic of violence " Day Gardner, the President of the National Black Pro-life Union and staff member at NPLAC on Capitol Hill, has written the following about Obama: African Americans throughout history have broken through barriers--strongholds, built by social injustice. Senator Obama is another black American proving what we as a people have always known--with hard work and opportunity we can achieve greatness! Recently, the inspiring Senator spoke to a congregation of concerned Christians at the Vernon Church of God in Chicago about the urgent need to end the "epidemic of violence" devastating our urban communities-- killing our children. He noted that 36 children had been killed just this year. I found it interesting that Mr. Obama neglected to include the 20,000 children who were gruesomely--violently killed last year in Chicago, (Cook County), by abortion --many of them just days before being "welcomed" ...
