LifeNews.Com reports that Kansas Attorney General Stephen Six has turned over 34 redacted abortion records to the Wichita-based grand jury investigating late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller. The records, from 2003, will help the grand jury determine if Tiller broke state abortion laws. Among other charges, Tiller is accused of doing illegal late-term abortions by not having a second, independent physician sign off on the abortions beforehand. Stephen Six is Kansas’ new attorney general. Gov. Kathleen Sebelius today appointed Six , a Douglas County judge, to replace disgraced Attorney General Paul Morrison, who will resign at the end of the month. You can watch the video here. Six, from Lawrence, specialized in civil litigation with a Kansas City-area law firm before Sebelius appointed him to the bench in January 2005. His father, Fred, is a retired Kansas Supreme Court justice. Mary Kay Kulp, State Executive Director of Kansans for Life, expressed her reaction to the appointment: "We don't know Judge Six, but we do know Kathleen Sebelius. "The issue today isn't who was chosen, but that the woman doing the choosing has proven that she is resolute in protecting the abortion industry (and their massive political donations) from any and all oversight.
