What's up with Huck?

Image
Former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has an announcement coming – very soon... You can find out exactly when that announcement will be made by going to his new website – MikeHuckabee.com. And that's all you will find out. Even those close to the former Arkansas governor swear they know nothing of the details. Will it just be a website where Huckabee blogs ? Will it be a joke site? Will he be announcing a new career as a talk-show host or pundit? Or will be tell the world he is going to be John McCain's running mate? Huckabee has kept a low profile since conceding defeat to Sen. McCain last month. The countdown ends on April 15, the deadline to file U.S. income tax returns. Huckabee is known for his support of the Fair Tax, and has said he wants to do away with the income tax as well as the Internal Revenue Service. Via WorldNetDaily. This certainly has captured my curiosity, but I'm not going to speculate, but will patiently wait until April 15.

It's Been A Glorious Fight

This is a small portion of Huckabee's gracious concession speech , which was very moving. Like Leticia , I am proud to have been one of his supporters. He is an amazing man!

Huck not only "stands up", but stands out, too!

What a positive message! Contrast this with Hillary's and Obama's negative and childish ad campaign discussed at Stop the ACLU. Then, while you're at it, if you haven't seen it yet (once is more than enough) take a look at McCain's latest ad admitting he's a liberal . Slip of the tongue? I think he accidentally spit out the truth.

Fun with Mike

Mike Huckabee has some fun on Saturday Night Live on February 23, 2008.

FINAL COUNT IN: HUCKABEE WINS KANSAS CAUCUS!

Huckabee 62% - McCain 22% - Paul 11% Go here to learn more. Mary Kay Culp, Executive Director of Kansans for Life said: "We hope the HuckaBOOM that went off in front of the McCain train in Kansas today alerts the nation that yet another mid-western state says it's not over 'til it's over, and it's not over yet!" "If the McCain folks were serious about unity and reaching out to conservative voters, they didn't show it by choosing as McCain's Kansas coordinator, outgoing national Republican committeeman Steve Cloud, who works to elect pro-abortion Republicans, and remove the pro-life plank from the Republican platform." "Pro-life Kansans are especially sensitive to the issue of officials who say the right thing, but then look the other way when it counts. Here in Kansas, citizens have worked in good faith to pass laws, elect attorney generals and initiate grand juries to right the wrong of late-term abortions of viable unborn babies rout...

Huckabee wins in Kansas; captures all 36 delegates

Image
Today, I spent most of the morning at the Republican caucus. The time spent there was well - worth it, as the results were quite favorable for pro-life, pro-family candidate, Mike Huckabee. Mike Huckabee crushed John McCain in Kansas, capturing all thirty-six of the delegates to the Republican National Convention from Kansas. He won in spite of the fact that both of the state's popular Republican Senators have endorsed Senator John McCain. At the Republican Caucus, I thought it was quite interesting that during and after each presidential candidate's representative gave their speech on why their candidate was best suited for office, there was cheering, whistling, sign waving, and applause, for all, with the exception of John McCain. The audience was completely silent throughout the presentation on McCain and, at the end, there was only a polite applause and I think that was mainly because people were glad the talk was over. The silence was almost embarassing and McCain's s...

Kansans For Life Endorses Mike Huckabee for President

Kansans for Life Political Action Committee (KFL PAC) announces its support of Mike Huckabee for President. "As Governor, Mike Huckabee had the kind of pro-life record that Kansans envy," said Christine Ostroski, KFL PAC Director. "While we've been labeled the late-term abortion capitol of America, our neighbors in Arkansas had Governor Huckabee fighting for everything from a ban on human cloning to pro-life license plates. His record is outstanding!" KFL PAC is urging all Kansans taking part in Saturday's Republican caucus to give their support to Mike Huckabee. Huckabee, former two-term governor of Arkansas, has been a leader in the fight to recognize the value of even the smallest human life. "What I accomplished as Governor," said Huckabee, "proves that there is a lot more that a pro-life President can do than wait for a Supreme Court vacancy, and I will do everything I can to promote a pro-life agenda and pass pro-life legislation. If I...

New Jersey Right to Life Endorses Mike Huckabee for GOP Nomination

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee continues to rack up endorsements from statewide pro-life organizations in advance of the Super Tuesday primary. While John McCain and Mitt Romney are campaigning as opponents of abortion, the groups say Huckabee is the strongest pro-life candidate. Marie Tasy, the director of New Jersey Right to Life, told LifeNews.com on Monday that her group's political action committee has endorsed Huckabee. "After careful consideration of all the candidates' positions, New Jersey Right to Life PAC has decided to endorse Mike Huckabee for President. Mike Huckabee is the only Republican candidate that is solidly pro-life," Tasy said. "We encourage all of our members and supporters and everyone who is truly interested in advancing a culture of life that seeks protection for every member of the human family, from the moment of fertilization until natural death, to vote for Mike Huckabee on Tuesday," Tasy added. Right to Life Groups Endorse Huckabee

Image
Tennessee Right to Life Next Pro-Life Group to Endorse Mike Huckabee Tennessee Right to Life, on Monday, became the next pro-life group to issue an endorsement for Mike Huckabee -- the former Arkansas governor many pro-life advocates consider the strongest pro-life candidate on the GOP side. As LifeNews.com has reported, Tennessee joins its sister affiliates in Missouri, Arizona, Georgia and Montana. Tennessee is one of the states with a primary election on Super Tuesday and Tennessee Right to Life officials told LifeNews.com on Monday they hope Republicans will side with Huckabee. The strength of Governor Huckabee’s public record on matters concerning the protection of human life and strong support among the organization’s grassroots members were key to making the decision, they said . “The beauty of a grassroots organization is that your members set the priorities,” the group's president Brian Harris said. “For pro-life Tennesseans, the election of a sincere, proven pro-life ...

NOW SUPPORTS PRO-DEATH OBAMA

And why shouldn't they? He's worse than Hillary! He is the strongest pro-death candidate out there. The democrats stand out as the party of death; there are some Republicans who support human life and others who don't. Duncan Hunter was my pick in the past, but now that he has bowed out of the race and endorsed Michael Huckabee, I, too, believe that Huckabee is the best choice for the presidential nomination. Hunter has stated that he believes that Mike Huckabee is the most committed of the GOP Presidential nominees to strengthening national defense, getting a fence built along the U.S.-Mexico border and dealing with China's role as an emerging economic and military superpower. He is certainly the strongest pro-life candidate (aside from Alan Keyes, who is a candidate, but really isn't.) Alan Keyes would definitely make a great president, but it is not realistic to think that he could ever be nominated or elected at this point in time. Neither McCain nor Romney are...

Huckabee: Merry CHRISTmas and I approve this message

I'm happy to see that at least one of our Presidential candidates is focusing on what really matters this time of year.

Mike Huckabee's First TV Ad: "Chuck Norris Approved"

At this stage of the game, I am learning more about the candidates and continue to feel drawn to Mike Huckabee due to his strong pro-life views. Here is the first of his TV ads for Iowa. What do you think?

Huckabee on Immigration

Mike Huckabee, a strong pro-life candidate for the 2008 Presidential election, has some excellent ideas about immigration. I agree with him - secure our borders first and enforce our current laws.

Yesterday's GOP Debate More Lively and Eye-Opening

I watched this second debate with an open mind, respecting the candidates, and hoping that this time they would show us more of who they really are and I wasn't disappointed. This debate proved more lively than the first one. Some of the details of the issues that came out in this debate surprised me. One 0f those surprises occurred when Sen. Sam Brownback of Kansas, who has made his pro-life views a central theme of his campaign, admitted to an exception to abortion "for the life of the mother." He did, however, tackle a tough question on abortion very well. When asked why a woman who was raped should not have an abortion, he responded, "That would be a very difficult situation....But the basic question remains: Is the child in the womb a person? Is it a viable life? And if it is a person, it's entitled to respect.... It's a terrible situation, where there's a rape involved or incest. But it nonetheless remains that this is a child that we're talking...
