The Audacity of Obama Speaking at Notre Dame Just Might be His Downfall

Image
I'm pleased to see that many prominent and well-respected Catholics and pro-lifers are speaking out and protesting the Notre Dame scandal now, as commencement ceremonies draw near. In "The Audacity to Speak: Thoughts on Why Obama Should Excuse Himself from Notre Dame's Commencement Ceremonies", Day Gardner of National Black Pro-Life Union, comments, "I am baffled at the audacity of Barack who insists on speaking at this graduation even if graduating students don't want him there. President Obama doesn't get it. His ego is so big that he has no problem forcing himself on the students and faculty of Notre Dame. A man of greater stature would simply have excused himself--in order to maintain decorum and dignity." The majority of students don't want him there nor do the alumni. So, why is he not bowing out? Is it to cause even more division in the Catholic Church? Is he trying to exert his power and authority over the Catholic sector? Whatever the r...

Training And Activism 2009

ALL Conference to Feature Pro-life New Media Stars

Washington, DC (10 December 2008) – American Life League will feature two of the most innovative new voices in the pro-life movement at their Training and Activism Week and Personhood Conference Jan. 21-23. The TAW will feature Jill Stanek, renowned pro-life blogger and former nurse who launched the Born Alive Truth campaign during the 2008 presidential elections, and Lila Rose, the UCLA student president of Live Action Films who outed Planned Parenthood's cover-up of statutory rape and acceptance of racially motivated donations." Jill and Lila's work with new technology and media has helped uncover the truly despicable activity of the pro-abortion movement in America as well as introduce a whole new generation of people to the war on the preborn," said Marie Hahnenberg, project director for ALL's Personhood Conference and Rock for Life's Training and Activism Week. "Jill and Lila have invigorated and inspired thousands of people to take a stand for life ...

22 Weeks: Stunning Movie

WorldNetDaily : Born-alive abortion movie stuns viewers -- Film based on mom's true story reaches new audiences, including Congress From Jill Stanek : 22 Weeks screenings: I began writing about the death of Baby Rowan soon after it happened in 2005, having received a call from his distraught mother, who had an instant change of heart when seeing her baby. He was aborted in an Orlando, FL, abortion clinic toilet and survived for several minutes. The Born Alive Infants Protection Act should have protected him but didn't. State and federal prosecutors failed him. Clinic workers went so far as to turn away EMTs at the mill door who the mother had called to help her baby. Now a short movie has been made of that tragedy, 22 Weeks . MORE My Comments: I am looking forward to this new pro-life film. You can demand that it come to your city. Just go to the widget on the left hand sidebar of this blog above my movie reviews.

Jill Stanek: ABC censors 2nd pro-life ad

On October 10, the National Right to Life Committee announced the ABC Radio Network had refused to run the audio version of the following anti-Obama ad during the Sean Hannity radio show. NRLC reported ABC emailed that the ad, "while supporting aspects of a Pro-Life position, weighs more heavily toward electioneering." Well duh. It is indeed an electioneering ad, paid for by NRLC's Political Action Committee, the function of which is to electioneer, allowed under federal law. So today LifeNews.com reported that ABC Chicago is refusing to air the ad below by Caring Outreach : Jean Synovic, a representative of the Caring Outreach, tells LifeNews.com that ABC, without citing any scientific or medical sources, claimed that the images used in the commercial were not that of an unborn child at 85 days gestation, as the ad states. What Barack Obama Supports -- New Video

I Invented the Internet (Episode 4: Kill and Destroy) Featuring an interview with Jill Stanek, "Kill and Destroy" explores Barack Hussein Obama's support of infanticide in Illinois, an alarming decision that was opposed by every Democrat and Republican in the U.S. Senate."What does it take to make a man a monster any more?" Illuminati Pictures president Molotov Mitchell recently wrote. "If Americans can watch this video and still support Barack Obama, then America is...beyond all hope." VOTE NOBAMA!

Don't Support Death: Just Say "Nobama!"

I have been blogging on Barack Obama and Jill Stanek since 2004, when I had the privillege of serving as one of Jill Stanek's prayer intercessors. At that time, Jill was dismissed from her position as an R.N. at Christ Hospital in Oak Brook, IL for telling the truth about the infanticide occuring there. Babies that were meant to be aborted at this so-called "Christian" hospital who were born alive were left to die, without receiving any medical assistance whatsoever. Jill's testimony can be found here at Priests for Life. Jill also appeared on O'Reilly to share her story. Jill fought back to protect these infants and, the Born Alive Infants Protection Act was introduced into the IL legislature as a result of her efforts. Barack Obama was serving in the IL legislature at that time and worked to ensure that this horrifying procedure continue. Obama not only voted against Born Alive, but he was the sole senator to speak against it on the senate floor - 2 years in a ...

Stanek response to Obama's Relevant interview lies

A CNN reporter interviewing me a couple weeks ago about Barack Obama's opposition as state senator to the Illinois Born Alive Infants Protection Act groaned more than once that this topic was "complicated." She was referring to Obama's various explanations through the years for blocking Born Alive and lately his outright denial that obstructing legislation declaring live aborted babies legal persons had anything to do with endorsing their death. I finally emailed her, "It is clear: Obama strongly opposed legislation to protect abortion survivors. This is horrible, so of course he will try to make it 'complicated,' but it is not." Obama has recently been ratcheting up the obfuscations.... Obama may have set a new record in a July 1 Relevant magazine interview, rattling four excuses in one soundbite, all previously outlined in my January 2008 column, "Obama's 10 reasons for supporting infanticide" - Nos. 1, 6, 7 and Continue reading Jill...

Jill Stanek -- CNN: Obama's opposition to Born Alive Act

Via Jill Stanek : CNN fairly reported then-state Sen. Barack Obama's opposition to the IL Born Alive Infants Protection Act, a bill to protect abortion survivors from being shelved to die in hospital soiled utility rooms. Obama not only voted against Born Alive, he was the sole senator to speak against it on the senate floor - 2 years in a row. The federal version of Born Alive passed unanimously 98-0 in the US Senate with Sens. Kennedy and Boxer speaking in support on the senate floor. It passed overwhelmingly by voice vote in the US House. President Bush signed it into law on August 5, 2002. As chairman of the IL Senate Health & Human Services Committee, Obama singlehandedly stopped the identical wording of the federal bill from being introduced in IL in 2003. Barack Obama is so radical in his support of abortion, he supports infanticide. Go read Jill Stanek's post for her commentary on this . In it she states: " Costello's follow-up should be to answer the ques...

Born Alive Infant Protection Needs to be Protected

Image
Until a whistle-blower blew the lid off a little-known practice, babies that survived abortions lacked clear legal rights and protection. Jill Stanek, once a nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL, entered the abortion battle in 1999 when she discovered that babies that “accidentally” survived abortions were placed in a closet and left to die. In 2000 and 2001 she testified about her experience to the US House Committee on the Judiciary’s Subcommittee on the Constitution on behalf of the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act. Her credible eye-witness testimony thrust this practice before lawmakers and helped pass a federal law defining that a baby who is born alive is in fact a person deserving respect. She now faces the challenge of ensuring that this law is enforced. Stanek’s public stance eventually cost her job at Christ Hospital, but their loss was the pro-life community’s gain. She is currently an activist, columnist and blogger ( http://www.jillstanek.com/ ). Congress passed the B...
