Omaha, NE - On Saturday, October 11, 2008, Mary Adam, 72, was knocked to the ground and injured outside a Bellevue, Nebraska abortion clinic by the angry mother of a woman who Mary had turned away from the clinic the previous day. The woman had returned with her daughter to insure that she received an abortion, even though the daughter expressed hesitancy to Mary on Friday and indicated to her an interest in placing her baby for adoption. Mary was rushed to a nearby hospital and was treated for a bump on the head and other minor injuries for which she is still suffering pain. She is recovering at home. The incident began on Friday, when two sisters arrived at the abortion clinic owned by the infamous partial-birth abortionist LeRoy Carhart. They were given literature, and Mary spoke to them about the abortion and some of the problems that Carhart has had, including his involvement in the third-trimester abortion death of 19-year old Christin Gilbert in 2005, at George Tiller's lat...
