In Live Action's latest Inhuman investigative video release, renowned late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart is caught on tape discussing the grisly details of the abortion procedure and misleading a pregnant woman regarding the dangers of abortion. Dr. Cahart's testimony is shocking and disturbing. He compares the child in the womb to "meat in a Crock-Pot" and then jokes about his abortion toolkit, complete with a "pickaxe" and "drill bit." Then he outright lies when he claims that his patient, Jennifer Morbelli, died of complications from her pregnancy rather than from the abortion Carhart performed. Abortion not only destroys the lives of innocent babies, but it injures their mothers, too. This legal abortion resulted in the death of the mother. Just because an abortion is legal, it does not mean it is safe. Staff for the Nebraska attorney general are moving forward on an investigation of late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart. Operation Rescue  has received word that criminal investigators are interviewing former abortion employees who submitted affidavits blowing the whistle on alleged illegal activities at Carhart's clinic in Bellevue, just south of Omaha. "And so now we are seeing kind of the fruit of this investigation coming forward, and we're hoping and expecting that criminal charges will be filed soon," says Troy Newman of Operation Rescue. Newman believes Carhart has violated 12 to 15 statutes .  "Some of the shocking ones are allowing, actually mandating, unlicensed, untrained personnel to administer medication, starting IVs, and dispensing medications orally of controlled substances, " he points out. A coalition of four pro-life groups have sent a letter to Nebraska Attorney General Jon Buning asking him to open a "comprehensive" investigation into late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart and his Bellevue abortion clinic. Signing the letter were Troy Newman of Operation Rescue headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, Rev. Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition in Washington, DC, Larry Donlan of Rescue the Heartland in Omaha, Nebraska, and Ann Bowen of Nebraskans United for Life, also of Omaha. The group expressed concerns about the legality of certain aspects of Carhart's abortion business as well concerns about the condition of Carhart's run-down abortion clinic that was damaged by an accidental fire earlier this year. Carhart has indicated that he wants to begin doing risky third trimester abortions at his Bellevue clinic.
