Planned Parenthood is still refusing to honor a subpoena issued by a citizen-called grand jury in Johnson County, Kansas, for 16 abortion records that have had patient identifying information removed, despite reports to the contrary. An agreement between Planned Parenthood and the special counsel for the grand jury was reached last Tuesday to provide some or part of the records. However, that agreement was rejected by the grand jury as being inadequate, and Judge Patrick Moriarty officially revoked the agreement on Friday. Get the rest of the story here.

Yesterday, in Judge Tatum's court in Johnson County, District Attorney Phill Kline presented evidence to show that Planned Parenthood's lawyers may have a conflict of interest in representing Planned Parenthood in Kline's case against Planned Parenthood. The hearing was valuable for uncovering actions indicating Sebelius' hand-picked AG, Paul Morrison, gravely misused his office both to help Planned Parenthood avoid prosecution, as well as to hide all his court maneuverings on their behalf. (Court filings on these matters have been unjustifiably "sealed" from public scrutiny since at least June).
