The final tally was 44.74-55.26%. “Pro-life supporters may have suffered a political loss, but we are far from defeated. We’ll be back,” said Cheryl Sullenger, Senior Policy Advisor for Operation Rescue, who was in Albuquerque for the vote. “It is clear that the people are uncomfortable with late-term abortions and would like to see them end. Arlington VA – The pro-life organization Live Action has released a second investigative video, highlighting what Live Action President Lila Rose has coined “room-service abortions” – and the hotels that profit off such sinister arrangements. The new undercover recording released by Live Action features an investigator attempting to schedule a 25-week (six-plus-month) abortion appointment with Southwestern Women’s Options, Albuquerque’s notorious late-term facility.  After specifying that the late-term abortion comprises a “week-long procedure,” the staffer directs the investigator to the Plaza Inn – “a hotel that we work in conjunction with” – which offers room rate discounts and free transportation to and from all appointments. In Live Action's latest Inhuman investigative video release, renowned late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart is caught on tape discussing the grisly details of the abortion procedure and misleading a pregnant woman regarding the dangers of abortion. A coalition of four pro-life groups have sent a letter to Nebraska Attorney General Jon Buning asking him to open a "comprehensive" investigation into late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart and his Bellevue abortion clinic. Signing the letter were Troy Newman of Operation Rescue headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, Rev. Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition in Washington, DC, Larry Donlan of Rescue the Heartland in Omaha, Nebraska, and Ann Bowen of Nebraskans United for Life, also of Omaha. The group expressed concerns about the legality of certain aspects of Carhart's abortion business as well concerns about the condition of Carhart's run-down abortion clinic that was damaged by an accidental fire earlier this year. CitizenLink.com , the action arm of Focus on the Family, has published a three part video interview with Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline, who has risked his career in an attempt to enforce Kansas abortion laws. Kline, the former Kansas Attorney General, has been involved in prosecutions of late-term abortionist George R. Tiller of Wichita and the Planned Parenthood abortion mill in Overland Park.
