Via Operation Rescue : Late-term abortionist George R. Tiller is spending a lot on lawyers these days, with cases in three different venues moving along at a glacial pace. These cases can be summarized in three words: delay, delay, delay. Earlier this week, the Kansas Supreme Court finally ruled that subpoenas for evidence issued by a citizen-called grand jury in January can finally be honored, after four months of delays in an investigative process that is supposed to last just 90 days. With the clock ticking on the new July 8 deadline for the grand jury to complete its investigation, the Court placed a maze of complex hurdles on the process of redacting patient identifying information that could be used by Tiller’s high-priced legal team to terminally delay the production of evidence. For those of you who are not familiar with her case , Lauren overdosed on heroin on August 28, 2006. This man is not only a disgrace to his office as a public servant of the people, but also to his "Catholic" faith and family. If he has an ounce of integrity, he'll resign from office. Catholic identity is in danger of being lost in the current “completely secularized” culture says Archbishop Raymond Burke of St. Louis Missouri. Burke is known as one of the most faithful defenders of the unborn among the US Catholic hierarchy. He told a Fox news reporter that although “some people don't accept everything the church teaches,” he has to keep teaching the truths of the faith. He urged faithful Catholics to keep teaching because their Catholic identity is in danger of being lost. “Why? Because we live in a culture that's completely secularized.” He reiterated the warnings made by Pope Benedict XVI against relativism, the belief that all religious faiths, all moral codes and all lifestyles are equally valid.
