Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A Christian pro-life group has started a new prayer campaign to pray that incoming president Barack Obama will change his mind on abortion. Beginning tomorrow and extending for the next 19 days, the Christian Defense Coalition will lead prayer for Obama outside the White House. The prayer vigil will take place every day at noon until the inauguration. The group will close with a large prayer vigil on the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. national holiday on Monday, January 19 at noon. The Christian Defense Coalition is encouraging the faith community to pray for Obama and his conversion on abortion at noon in their homes, churches and local communities all across the nation. A Christian group has launched a new campaign to educate American voters on the radical and extremist abortion policies of Senator Obama. The campaign entitled, "Barack Obama: The Abortion President," will focus on how Mr. Obama wants taxpayers to pay for abortions. The Christian Defense Coalition will have a news conference on Tuesday, July 8, at 11:00 A.M. to discuss this new campaign. The location of the news conference will be in front of Mr. Obama's senate office in the Hart Senate Office building on the Constitution Ave. NE entrance side. A major part of the news conference will center on the fact that Senator Obama wants people of faith, Catholics and Evangelicals, to pay for abortions through their tax dollars.
