Thousands of Catholic College Students to Participate in March for Life

Via CNA: Thousands of Catholic college students and faculty will participate in the National March for Life in Washington, DC this Thursday. Pre-eminent among the colleges participating in the March is the Front Royal, Virginia-based Christendom College , which has participated in the demonstration since 1974. It will bus all of its students to Washington, and for the third time will lead the March with its school banner. Magdalen College’s entire student body will travel about 500 miles from Warner, New Hampshire to march for the second straight year. Students solicited donations for the trip. “We mourn the intentional killing of millions of innocent babies and the suffering of pregnant mothers from these killings, and we wish to show America our determination to defend life, and our unequivocal endorsement of the Culture of Life,” Magdalen President Jeffrey J. '10,000 Masses for Unborn Babies' gains support

The January 13th - 21st, 2009 10,000 MASSES FOR UNBORN BABIES , an effort that is being coordinated by the Saint Michael the Archangel Organization, now has over 170 Masses scheduled to be offered for the protection of unborn human persons. This Novena of Masses may very well mark a pro-life first if the goal of 10,000 is met.

The WORLDWIDE ROSARY FOR UNBORN BABIES prayer event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 18th, 2008. Participants will pray the Rosary during the 9:00 a.m. hour for the following intention: For an end to the surgical and non-surgical killing of unborn babies. Police Brutality at the DNC in Denver

Two young girls were brutally attacked by police Wednesday evening without warning as they were chalking the sidewalk with pro-life messages outside the Westin Hotel, where Democratic Presidential Nominee Barack Obama is staying. Abortionist Arrested For Violent Attack On Pro-lifer Santa Ana, CA – A pro-life man was violently attacked by an abortionist on a public sidewalk outside a Santa Ana abortion clinic on Saturday, August 2, 2008. The man, who wants only to be known as Tim, was first shoved, then battered, punched and choked by the abortionist who objected to his attempts to photograph him. Tim sustained lacerations and muscle pain that impaired his ability to conduct his normal activities as a result of the attack. Tim went to the clinic because he had been told there was a possibility that the abortionist at the Clinica Medica Para La Mujer, located at 120 W. 5th St. in Santa Ana, was operating illegally. Conference to discuss promotion of human life and dignity in the 'New Evangelization'

Pro-life leaders will join physicians, ethicists and experts in family life and social justice issues for a July convocation in Camden, New Jersey to discuss new ways to promote human life and dignity. A press release for the convocation, which is titled "Life, Justice & Family: Partners in the New Evangelization," says the meeting will "take up John Paul II's call for creativity and deeper unity in crafting a 'new evangelization' — new in ardor, methods and expression." The three-day convocation, which is open to the public, will begin on July 28, 2008, the fortieth anniversary of Pope Paul VI's encyclical "Humanae Vitae."
