What Obama Supports

Jill Stanek tells us: As we've been discussing the past couple days, Barack and Michelle Obama fully support partial birth abortion. In fact, they've gone so far as to attempt to raise money by fear-mongering about the Partial Birth Abortion Ban, calling it a "legitimate medical procedure." Read More here. Barack Obama perplexed on when human life begins

At CNN's Faith in Public Life's Compassion Forum at Messiah College 13 April Obama was asked when life begins. You would think he would at least attempt to come up with some kind of intelligent answer rather than evade the question, but that's exactly what he did. He was trapped. If he admitted the simple medical fact that life begins at conception that would reveal the obvious -- that abortion is killing an innocent human life. And, if he admits that, then everything he stands for is a lie. Transcript: QUESTION: Senator, do you personally believe that life begins at conception? And if not, when does it begin? OBAMA: This is something that I have not, I think, come to a firm resolution on. I think it’s very hard to know what that means, when life begins. Is it when a cell separates? Is it when the soul stirs? So I don’t presume to know the answer to that question. What I know, as I’ve said before, is that there is something extraordinarily powerful about potential life and...

Barack Obama: The Most Anti-Catholic Presidential Candidate

If you are Catholic and still don't understand why it is against your faith to vote for someone like Obama here are the basics (I have been blogging about Obama since 2004, when I first became acquainted with him and his anti-Catholic stance on the issue of human life. As a prayer intercessor for nurse Jill Stanek at that time, I became acutely aware of the evil actions of Barack Obama, a puppet of the democratic party and the culture of death.) Where Barack Obama stands on the issues: * He believes in sex education provided by Planned parenthood to children at the kindergarten level (5 - year - olds!). *He also has a voting record that consistently supports abortion - even the horrific partial - birth abortion. *Twice, Obama voted NO to bills prohibiting tax funding of abortions. Yes, he thinks that we should pay for people to murder their children! *In April 2007, he voted YES on expanding research to more on embryonic stem cell lines, which involves the destruction of human li...

My Nomination for Huckabee's Running Mate

Alan Keyes, 2008 presidential candidate campaigning in El Paso, Texas blasts Barack Obama. He shares the truth about pro-death, partial birth abortion supporter Barack Obama's role in promoting babies born alive left to die without any medical intervention. He did this in his home state of IL - supported babies dying in his own backyard!!! And he has the nerve to call himself a Christian!!! In my opinion, this is "scum of the earth behavior" and this "man" (Barack Obama) is running for president of the United States?!!! Alan Keyes is one of the few politicians who has actually stood up to him. This eloquent speaker and man of high moral standards deserves our support. He would make an excellent Vice President in our country today. We need him -- his courage, his holy boldness, his experience, his integrity, and his intelligence -- to stand up to our culture of death. Obama is really in a pickle!

Image
Pro-death, partial birth abortion supporter Barack Obama is really in quite a bit of trouble. Check out the details below. Having lived in IL most of my life -- this doesn't surprise me one bit. Criminal support is the way most of the Chicago democrats get into office in the first place. Obama 'Backer' Rezko Ordered to Jail Rezko Violated Parole With Series of Secret Financial Transactions With Mideast Banks Obama Kept Contributions From Accused Fixer's Wife And Others Despite claims over the weekend from Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama that his campaign had given away all the donations connected to accused fixer Antoin "Tony" Rezko, the campaign has not returned more than $100,000 in donations from Rezko's wife and 20 other Rezko-linked donors, according to an ABCNews.com review . NOW SUPPORTS PRO-DEATH OBAMA

And why shouldn't they? He's worse than Hillary! He is the strongest pro-death candidate out there. The democrats stand out as the party of death; there are some Republicans who support human life and others who don't. Duncan Hunter was my pick in the past, but now that he has bowed out of the race and endorsed Michael Huckabee, I, too, believe that Huckabee is the best choice for the presidential nomination. Hunter has stated that he believes that Mike Huckabee is the most committed of the GOP Presidential nominees to strengthening national defense, getting a fence built along the U.S.-Mexico border and dealing with China's role as an emerging economic and military superpower. He is certainly the strongest pro-life candidate (aside from Alan Keyes, who is a candidate, but really isn't.) Alan Keyes would definitely make a great president, but it is not realistic to think that he could ever be nominated or elected at this point in time. Neither McCain nor Romney are...

Catholic Carnival 156: Saints, Sin, Politics, and Life

Image
There is a little of everything in this Catholic Carnival - from great information about Saints and Cardinals to incisive looks at our political culture today. Be sure to check it out at Living Catholicism hosted by Jay. A few of my favorite posts there include: 1. What is Wrong with Porn? at Aggie Catholics , which explores pornography addiction. This is becoming a huge problem, particularly in the US, and this post does a great job of exploring ways to resist as well as why it is a problem. 2. Holiness and Culture at HMS Blog reflects on the Mass Readings for last Sunday and how they relate to the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade on January 22. 3. Did You Hear a Pro-Life Homily Today? at Catholic Matriarch in My Domestic Church did hear a pro-life sermon. And it was more courageous (in our day and time) than we usually hear. Be sure to support your priests when they speak out in defense of the Truth. 4. Is Barack Obama the Angel of Death at Deo Omnis Gloria . This is another YouTube...

Culture of Life Quote of the Day

“It’s irresponsible for a Catholic college and its leadership to host a political rally for an aggressively pro-abortion candidate. Such events curry public attention at the expense of public morality. In so doing, they demonstrate reckless disregard for the most vulnerable human lives and contribute to the general decline of Catholic higher education.” ~ Patrick J. Reilly, president of the Cardinal Newman Society referring to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's appearance at St. Peter’s College, a Jesuit-run institution in Jersey City, New Jersey

Breaking News: 'Obamamania' sputters, McCain 'comeback kid'

WorldNetDaily: 'Obamamania' sputters, McCain 'comeback kid' Obama does sputter -- having seen him in the debates in IL -- I can honestly say he is the worst debater I have ever seen and that 's not an exaggeration. I would have been very surprised if Hillary had not won this election in New Hampshire. These are her stomping grounds. McCain's win wasn't too surprising. However, Mitt Romney is the senator from the neighboring state of Massachusetts and actually has a vacation home in New Hampshire. John Mc Cain is strong in terms of his military experience, but he is definitely not pro-life. While McCain does have a strong pro-life record when it comes to abortion , he supports federal funding of embryonic destructive stem cell research and in fact voted for it three times. What kind of voters are the democrat candidates attracting? Hillary Clinton: single women, senior citizens, low - income families (under $50,ooo) Obama: men, young adults (under 30), indep...

Pro-Life Activists Shut Down Senator Obama Rally -- Group Chanted 'Abortion is an Obama-Nation'

Today, at 5:30 PM, Senator Obama held a rally at the Rochester Opera House on Wakefield Street, in Rochester. Fifteen pro-life activists from the Washington DC based Christian Defense Coalition and the California based "Survivors" group shut down the Obama campaign rally chanting "abortion is an Obama-nation." The chant was a play on the phrase "abortion is an abomination." Rev. Patrick Mahoney said, "We had this prophetic pro-life witness to call upon Senator Obama to end the war on America's children through abortion. This war has resulted in the deaths of over fifty-million innocent children. Tragically Senator Obama supports a radical pro-abortion position which is a betrayal of human rights and social justice. We will continue throughout the Presidential campaign to peacefully and prayerfully challenge Senator Obama to support the dignity and sanctity of all human life." Danielle Versluys said, "Tonight the Survivors broke the sil...

Hillary and Obama Slam Supreme Court on Abortion Ruling

Image
Hillary and Obama perform for pro-aborts WASHINGTON (Reuters) Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama criticized recent U.S. Supreme Court decisions as hypocritical and inconsistent on Tuesday, saying a ruling upholding a late-term abortion ban was part of a concerted effort to roll back women's rights. Senator Obama, is it a woman's right to destroy her body and undergo the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual trauma of abortion? Doesn't a woman also possess the right to protect her body? Doesn't a woman also have the right to be informed about the horrific consequences of an abortion? Doesn't she have the right to be told the truth: that it is a baby that will be killed in this procedure and not a piece of tissue? Doesn't the child that is growing and developing in the mother's womb also have a right to life? How would you feel if your own mother had exercised her "right" to abort you? Obama Launches "Religious" Outreach Site

Here's what Catholic League President Bill Donahue Has to Say About It: “On Sen. Obama’s new website, he lists the testimonials of three controversial clergymen: Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., senior pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago; Rev. J. Alfred Smith Sr., senior pastor of Allen Temple Baptist Church in Oakland, California; and Rev. Michael Pfleger, a Roman Catholic Chicago priest. “Rev. Wright was scheduled to give the invocation at the forum of Obama’s presidential announcement on February 10, but the night before the event Obama rescinded the bid: the Illinois senator knew that his spiritual advisor was so divisive that he would cloud the ceremonies. The black liberation theologian has a record of giving racially inflammatory sermons and has even said that Zionism has an element of ‘white racism.’ He also blamed the attacks of 9/11 on American foreign policy. “Rev. Smith was honored by the notoriously violent Black Panther Party of Oakland in 1975, and in 19...

Pro-life Thought for The Day

C.S. Lewis must have had a premonition of our pro-abortion politicians (Giuliani, Kennedy, Obama, Kerry) when he wrote this in "The Screwtape Letters". "The greatest evil is not now done in those sordid 'dens of crime' that Dickens loved to paint. It is not done even in concentration camps and labour camps. In those we see its final result. But it is conceived and ordered (moved, seconded, carried and minuted) in clean, carpeted, warmed and well-lighted offices, by quiet men with white collars and cut fingernails and smooth-shaven cheeks who do not need to raise their voice. Hence naturally enough, my symbol for Hell is something like the bureaucracy of a police state or the offices of a thoroughly nasty business concern."

Obama: Most Ridiculous Story of the Day

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Barack Obama, caught up in the fervor of a campaign speech Tuesday, drastically overstated the Kansas tornadoes death toll, saying 10,000 had died. The death toll was 12. My Observation: Just a minor error - actually there's not much difference between 12 and 10,000. From what I have observed in listening to his speeches (unless they have been written for him and he has memorized them) - this is typical for Obama. The liberal press is always covering up for his mistakes. (If they report them.) Lord, please don't let this man try to run our country. Find a more appropriate job for him. Amen.

Obama = Theocrat?

Check this out first. Then, read these comments from Bill Donahue: “If the same standard that was applied to President George W. Bush were to be applied to Senator Barack Obama, then Obama must be considered a theocrat who shows no respect for separation of church and state. What else is one to conclude after seeing a color photo of him today on the front page of the New York Times preaching from the pulpit of a Christian church? The article itself is even more indicting. “Obama’s spiritual mentor is a radical minister who blames the U.S. for the war in Iraq . So controversial is Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. that Obama shunned him when he announced his bid for the presidency. It makes one wonder how the media will follow up on this: after all, when Mel Gibson was being criticized for making ‘The Passion of the Christ,’ his foes constantly demanded that he denounce his father’s views on the Holocaust. Surely Rev. Wright—who has played a pivotal role in shaping Obama’s thinking—should b...

"Blessing" is Blasphemous

Obama is portrayed here as Christ by a Chicago artist at the Art Institute. This is really pushing it - an ex-cocaine user and Muslim, an advocate of homosexual unions who vociferously supports crushing the heads of infants as they are being born is the last person in the world I would imagine to be compared to Christ. This is outrageous. Once again we have others who call themselves "artists" in the name of free speech mocking and profaning Christianity.

Hyscience: Obama's 'Paper Chase' Suggests He May Be Constitutional 'Space Cadet'

This is an amazing post from Hyscience which expresses my sentiments so exactly and succintly. It appears that Barack Obama may have to answer some questions regarding his views from law school about the elasticity of the Constitution. If he does in fact believe that Constitutional law can be approached in the same manner as Einsteinian physics - that the Constitution is relative , as this article suggests, then in application he'd appoint judges who have no problem twisting the Constitution for any purpose they see fit instead of forcing legislative matters back to Congress and the states where they belong, as our founders intended. Although I'm not a lawyer , this sounds an awful lot like constitutional relativism run amuck, and yet another reason I'd never vote for Obama or any other liberal. It's clear to me from his "spacey" article that like other liberals, Obama believes that activist Supreme Court judges should be encouraged to ignore the original...

Obama and McCain: A Reader's Opinion

I HEAR THAT SENS. OBAMA AND MCCAIN HAVE WEIGHED IN WITH THEIR OPINION THAT THE LIVES OF OUR BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN HAVE BEEN "WASTED" IN THE WAR ON TERROR. I AM NOW WAITING FOR THEM TO DECRY THE WASTED 47,000,000 LIVES OF BABIES SINCE THE INFAMOUS ROE V. WADE SUPREME COURT DECISION DECLARED A WAR OF TERROR ON THE INNOCENT UNBORN. I AM NOT HOLDING MY BREATH, HOWEVER. Larry My Comment I know exactly what you mean, Larry. Thanks for sharing this.

Barack Hussein Obama. On Feb. 26, 2007, Sen. Obama crossed Ohio raising money for his presidential campaign. Rev. Childress, Executive Director for Christians for Social Justice, wrote a commentary which appears on ObamaNation.Com, a website exposing the views of Obama on the greatest moral issues of our time – abortion and homosexual unions. The commentary has put him on the media radar screen. Since the launch of ObamaNation.Com Childress has been the subject of several interviews and stories. The following is a sample: Rev.
