The whole thing seems rather bizarre to me, but Fr. Fessio who was asked to resign from his position at Ave Maria University immediately yesterday due to "irreconcilable difference over administrative policies and practices" has now been rehired . Officials say Fessio will now be a designated theologian in residence and will maintain a room on campus, he will join in for the commencement exercises, and he will explore a semester abroad program in Rome and also how the study abroad program might continue in the future. It is expected that he will spend a significant amount of time in Europe. They also anticipate that Fessio will resume teaching at Ave Maria in the spring. What happened? It's a mystery. Praise God! The following intentions we prayed for here have been answered. Thank you for your prayers for T. who was considering an abortion. She gave birth to twins! Baby girl Te-Asia, weighing 4 pounds 12 ounces was born today at 3:07p.m. Baby boy (name still being pondered) was born two minutes later and weighed in at 4 pounds 11 ounces. Both babies are in good health and so is T. She's very happy that she didn't have a c-section and was able to give birth the good old fashioned way. She said the medical staff are still commenting on what a trooper she was during birth! T. is nursing the babies and she said it's going well so far .
