Beginning of the Month Daybook ~ June 1, 2009
I have decided to go with the format that my friend, Sarah, at Just Another Day of Catholic Pondering has been using, as it is short and concise, yet offers the opportunity for creativity. Outside my Window The sun is shining, the trees, bushes, and lawn are all green, and it's a breezy warm day. Today it will be getting up into the 90's again, but I am sitting here in my comfortable air-conditioned home, in my black leather task chair, ready to meet the challenges of another day. Rambling Thoughts I'm thinking of all that is ahead this week - the dinner for the seminarians, priests, and sisters of the diocese at the KC hall, my dental appointment, the book proposal, book reviews I need to do, and housework to get done (which, unfortunately, is usually last on my list). I'm also thinking about the spiritual reading and the quiet time I need to spend with the Lord in prayer, at daily Mass, and during Eucharistic Adoration.
