I agree with John J. Jakubczyk that former Senator Tom Daschle is pathetic and should withdraw from office. Nominated by Obama to be the Secretary of Health and Human Services, it was disclosed just days before his expected confirmation that he owed the government over $128,0000 in back taxes. I have had strong reservations about Daschle for some time now. It's ridiculous that someone who is pro-death could serve as Secretary of Health and Human Services. But putting that aside, do we really want another criminal in office? Yes, it's true that Obama most likely will replace him with someone just as crooked, but we have proof he's not trustworthy, so let's get rid of him while he still has hand in the cookie jar. I hope and pray that every senator will reject his nomination.
