St. Maria Faustina Kowalska, Messenger of Divine Mercy

Image
Today is the feast of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska (1905 - 1938), a Polish nun who was chosen by Jesus to remind the world of the mystery of God's merciful love, the devotion to Divine Mercy. Helena Kowalska was born in a small village in west-central Poland, the third of 10 children. She worked as a housekeeper in three cities before joining the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy in 1925. During her 13 years in various houses, she worked as a cook, gardener, and porter. In the 1930's, Sister Faustina grew in holiness and developed a mystical interior life.  During her time at the convent, Sister Faustina was blessed with many graces, including visions, revelations, wounds of the stigmata, sharing in the Passion of the Lord, bilocation, the ability to read of human souls, prophecy, mystical engagement, and mystical marriage. Sister Faustina received from the Lord a message of mercy that she was told to spread throughout the world.  She was asked to becom...

Horrific Black Masses Continue in Secret -- Why We Must Know and Keep Praying

Image
Why is Satan's vehement hatred directed at the Eucharist and the Catholic Mass?  By Janet Moore The Last Thing I Want to Talk About On this beautiful day the last thing I want to think about, let alone talk about, is the black mass that was offered in the public Civic Center in OKC at 7pm September 21, 2014.  Maybe you’re the same way. However, there is a burning fire inside me that leads me to speak against this and do all I can to expose it, in order to stop the outpouring of evil that is being called forth to flow from this horrific event.  I cannot be silent. There is too much at stake – there is too much evil involved. Whether Catholic or not, whether Christian or not, all people of good will should feel outraged at this event which calls upon Satan and his evil forces to come upon our homes and families, our cities, our nation and the world! Why are We Still Talking About This? You may ask, Why do you say that? Isn't it too late?  Didn't it a...

Archbishop Chaput on the Gosnell Murder Trial

Image
Here is what Archbishop Chaput had to say in his latest column in the Catholic Philly  about the murder trial of late-term abortionist Kermit Gosnell, who practiced in Philadelphia: Some stories, no matter how unsettling, just can’t be ignored — even when some people are determined to look away. The murder trial of Philadelphia abortionist Kermit Gosnell will soon go to jury. And like every other criminally accused person under the law, Gosnell is innocent until proven guilty. Whatever the verdict though, there’s no ambiguity about the kind of business he ran at his West Philadelphia “Women’s Medical Center” — an abortion clinic that critics have likened to a meatpacking plant or a butcher shop, with unborn children delivered into a toilet, and jars of fetal body parts stored around the facility. Dr. Gosnell was originally charged with one count of infanticide and five counts of “abuse of corpse” for killing fetuses born alive by plunging scissors into their n...

Catholic Priests to Perform Exorcism at Abortion Clinic

ROCKFORD -- Catholic priests from the Rockford diocese will perform an exorcism Monday at a Rockford abortion clinic. The Rev. Brian Geary, pastor at St. James in Belvidere, stressed that the priests won't be casting demons out of individuals, as popularly depicted on television and film. But he did say the clinic was "infested by evil" and needed to be cleansed. The Northern Illinois Women's Center, 1400 Broadway, was closed this weekend. But their Web site advises women to ignore protestors who are commonly seen in the area. Click Here For The Full Story...... ~Via CovenantNews.Com . I haven't been to this abortion mill yet, but I am familiar with it and do know that it has quite a reputation. It definitely needs exorcism, as do all our abortion mills. In fact, we could use a team of priests to make that their work on a full-time basis. I wonder if Fr. Frank Pavone has thought of that? Thinking about this led me to discovering this recent news: Fr. Thomas Eutene...
