Frontline's "The Last Abortion Clinic"

Excellent commentary here on last night's Frontline program on "The Last Abortion Clinic." I agree with the views expressed here and particularly would have liked to have seen more on the work of the sidewalk counselors. It would have been more credible to me if they had personally interviewed some of the sidewalk counselors and those who train sidewalk counselors. I noticed some of the Helpers of God's Precious Infants kneeling on the sidewalk facing the clinic praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, but again, none of them were personally interviewed. The program seemed to focus too much on the need for poor women to have abortions rather than on the need of the unborn child to live.

The part that really sickened me was when a young woman who was talking with an abortion "counselor" at the mill said she had prayed about her situation and felt that through her prayers she was supposed to go through with the abortion. My husband verbalized my thoughts when he responded, "Who did she pray to?"

It was somewhat uplifting for me to watch this program because it showed that those who support the culture of death are losing the battle and those who are supporting the culture of life are winning.

Did anyone else watch this program? What are your thoughts?
