Future of George Tiller's Clinic Unclear

Image
The Wichita Eagle WICHITA - The future of the clinic run by slain abortion doctor George Tiller was clouded Tuesday when his family issued a statement saying no decisions had been reached about what's next for Women's Health Care Services. The message countermanded statements that the clinic would resume normal operations next Monday by physician LeRoy Carhart, who had worked with Tiller for more than 10 years. Carhart, who travels from Nebraska for a few days every three weeks to work at the clinic, made his comments earlier this week. "The family's hope is that the valuable work of Dr. Tiller will be able to continue, but there have been no final decisions made about the long-term plans for the medical practice," said the statement released by Tiller's attorneys, Dan Monnat and Lee Thompson, on behalf of Jeanne Tiller and the Tiller family. "There is currently no plan to immediately reopen the clinic and no patients are bein...

Photos of Roe v. Wade Events in Nation’s Abortion Capital, Wichita, KS

Wichita, KS — Operation Rescue led a candlelight prayer vigil outside the nations’s largest late-term abortion mill, Women’s Health Care Services, on the 36th memorial of Roe v. Wade. As about 150 pro-lifers gathered for prayer, double the number from the previous year, troubled abortionist George Tiller slipped out the gate and headed off for home. “In previous years, Tiller has posted defiant banners, held rallies, even offered free abortions. There was none of that this year,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “He tried to simply sneak out of his abortion mill without anyone noticing.” Article -- More Photos here. After the Vigil, we met at Operation Rescue National Headquarters to View the film "22 Weeks." Here I am ( on a bad hair day ) pictured with Troy Newman at Operation Rescue.

Illegal Deception Scheme Uncovered at Tiller's

Wichita, KS – Operation Rescue announces the release of results from an undercover investigation it recently conducted at George R. Tiller’s late-term abortion clinic, Women’s Health Care Services. Those results show compelling evidence that WHCS routinely underestimates the fetal age and viability of pre-born babies in order to avoid having to comply with Kansas law.“ The evidence shows there is no doubt that fetal ages and viability are being intentionally misstated by WHCS in order to do abortions that would otherwise be illegal,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. Late-term save proves Tiller and cohorts are manufacturing bogus 'mental health' excuses in order to profit from expensive abortions Wichita, KS - Sidewalk counselor Jennifer McCoy had a great day of ministry outside George Tiller's late-term abortion mill in Wichita on Monday. Jennifer intercepted a couple from Ohio who were coming out of Tiller's abortion mill early in the afternoon. She persuaded them to go next door to Choices Medical Clinic, a pro-life center that offers help to pregnant women. After an ultrasound and visit with the staff physician, the couple was relieved to discover that the anomalies their 33-week pre-born baby was experiencing were correctable with surgery. They had only been given the abortion option. They told Jennifer that Tiller was charging them $15,000 , money that will now be used help raise their new daughter. When the couple left, they spoke with Jennifer and told them that seeing the graphic images of aborted babies on Operation Res...

Lady Valentina's Story

Image
Lady Valentina is a survivor, just one of the few, and this is her story. On June 27, 2007, two ladies, Rhonda and Rocio, arrived at Tiller's abortion facility in Wichita, Kansas. They were not there for a consultation, but instead Rocio had scheduled an early-term abortion appointment. Rocio’s friend, Rhonda, was there as a support person. Working at Tiller’s gate that day were two KCFL Volunteers, Dale Weldy and Donna Lampkin. Dale was able to stop the car as it rolled up Tiller’s driveway. After several minutes of urging, he convinced Rhonda and Rocio to seek counsel at the pro - life Choices Medical Clinic next door. Later in the day, when Rhonda and Rocio left Choices, Donna spoke with them a while longer. Donna offered Rocio a baby blanket, which she accepted. At that time, however, there was no verbal agreement that she was keeping the baby, so it was recorded as a Turn-Around only, and counted at 50% of a “save”. (Only Confirmed Saves are counted at 100 %.) Rocio was not se...
